Southern Inn Lumberton

We booked at the last minute and were stuck with a smoking room, but the lady at the front desk switched us for our second night, which was awesome. The manager at the front desk actually listens and cares about their customers. This place is convenient to fast food and for the money, it's worth the stay. They're still renovating the rooms and when they're completely renovated, you will not find a better place to stay.

We have stayed at the Southern Inn in Lumberton for the past seven years during our trips from FL to PA. What a great find! Located immediately off I95, exit 17, the bed and pillows are comfy, room is always clean and offers the amenities we need, restaurants, gas, stores and even a drug store in the immediate area and the hotel is family owned. The staff is always available, courteous and friendly and we have never had a problem. I highly recommend this hotel.

I give this rest stop 2 stars. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower was very warm, it was very convenient from 95, last minute stay. The only thing I had a problem with was the lack of cleanliness. The floor were very dirty, hair and dust all over the floors and furniture. Otherwise, it’s a great find.

Don't even bother, just horrible. We stopped by on our way home from traveling north on 95. The operators were RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. We have stayed at many motels up and down 95 some pretty nice some not as nice but this is the WORST ever. Don't waste your money, another exit or two will be worth the drive.

Nice clean rooms that have just been remodeled nice courteous staff if you're traveling and you're looking for a nice clean place to stay I recommend this place Southern Inn if you're on a budget I recommend coming here I stay here every time I pass through once or twice a year
