Absolutely the best German food we've had in years. Service is fantastic, the quality of the food is outstanding, worth the 2 hour drive! Will be going monthly.

Very good experience. Owner and servers were very nice, and one of the cooks actually came out to greet us during the meal. Food was comforting and down to earth. Would definitely go back again.

Excellent authentic German quisine, we don't know why it took us so long to try this place but will definitely be back. We got the Hausplatte (House Plate) which had a selection of roast pork, breaded pork, sausage, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and potatoes. We also go the stuffed cabbage, and a side of spaetzle (wonderful homemade noodles). Everything was very tasty, and at least as good as I remember from traveling in Germany. They also have excellent beers on tap. For dessert we barely managed to find room for some black forest cake, but it was worth it. We will definitely be back.

Good experience. The food was deliciously authentic and the servers were very attentive. The neighborhood doesn't inspire much confidence, the atmosphere is a little outdated and the prices are a lot higher than we expected. Still good overall.

Absolutely fantastic German food! One of our go to celebration spots. The owner is always there and always quick with suggestions on food and drink, listen to him! Never taken anyone there that didn't end up loving it. Be sure to get the onion soup.
