The Bench

Great beer selection and really good food. Tried a couple different wood fired entrees with the group I was with and all were delicious with generous portions. Wait staff wasn't as friendly or courteous as I would have expected, seemed to want to get us in and out as fast as possible.

The Bench has been in town for a few years now and it has gone from really quite good, to quite good to not bad. Between Tres Amigos (The Bench's sister) and the Bench, The Bench is better. The bar is small and cozy and can be compact on busy nights (nearly every night especially on holidays). The restaurant is pleasant enough and the staff are attentive. The menu cover the bases for all tastes and some items are oven fire roasted. The Bench is popular and one could say the best value for money restaurant in town.

Had the worst service. Food was incredible. Beer was obviously unbeatable. But the wait staff was so unfriendly and rude. Usually we like that kind of service. Leave us alone. But this was just blantently rude. We felt like we were a burden. We wont be visiting again.

Everything was great! Had eggplant parmesan, no pasta but had a small side piece of salmon.. Both eggplant and salmon were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The desert was fantastic! Had cinnamon swirl ice cream over apple strudel. Neither were too sweet and the strudel was warm and crispy outside. It was absolutely scrumptious! Our server Neil was attentive!great service!

Great beer curation, flat iron steak was awesome, everybody working there was so sweet. Overall a fantastic experience. Try the pizza, skip the salmon, the salads were also great.
