Food is very good. The servers need to communicate to eachother more. We have been there twice and both times part of our food orders never got put in. This time we had 3 people waiting on us and it didn't seem like they knew what the other had already asked or put in for our table. Because of that we ended up waiting an hour for food. We want to come back because the food is good. However, it's frustrating when we decide to go out and the service doesn't match how good the food is.

The food is awful. The mole sauce tasted burnt both times I went. They need A LOT more seasoning. They need to learn to cook Mexican from a Mexican. Yes, people have food allergies, but all they have to do, is put what ingredients are most connected with food allergies on the menu. The staff doesn't smile. The bartenders drink and drive. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone that doesn't want heartburn.

One of my biggest pet peeves is not being able to get to the bar to order a drink if I have to wait for a table. And once I get a seat at the bar I don't enjoy when people that are waiting for tables are ordering drinks over my shoulder. Would it be so hard to have a designated spot, like the servers have, for people waiting for tables to order drinks? I should have known better than to go out for dinner on the Saturday of a holiday weekend. Maybe if we go early it wouldn't be so bad? 5:30 was definitely not early enough. It was so busy and unbelievably loud! We were told it would be a 45 minute wait for our group of 8. Not a big deal if you could actually get a bartenders attention at the bar. After a frustrating 15 minutes we were finally able to get two seats at the bar and were able to order a round of drinks for the group. What I really wanted was a Jumbo Texas Margarita. For $12 you can get what I would call a mini Margarita. I highly recommend the Motorcycle Diaries Margarita. It was amazing! Once we got seated, our server Jenny was fantastic and made the rest of our evening enjoyable! The food is not what I would call traditional Mexican. It took quite a while to come out but it was really good. I've never had to order chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant let alone pay for them. Did I mention how loud it was? Overall, I'm glad we ventured out that night. It didn't start off so well but eventually the noise level decreased and we were able to actually hear each other talk. We had a good time. Thanks again Jenny!

Surprisingly good food! The mole and homemade habanero salsa will have me visiting again for sure. The empanadas are a must try as well. The service was great; very attentive. The only reason why I docked one star is the bass from upstairs made it super hard to hear my colleagues during dinner
