The Blue Plate

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary for the weekend in Beaver Creek and this place came highly recommended by friends. I made the reservation online, super simple. Our reservation was at 7:30 and we were seated right away at a table inside with a beautiful view. First off, our waiter was fantastic!! Our waters were always refilled, and he took care of everything we needed, while still giving us alone time. I wish i knew his name, because this guy deserves a raise! Lol. Now the food, on another level!! So delicious! Fantastic, unique food without that stuffy, expensive restaurant feel. The chef is a true artist, the presentation of the food, and the foods he puts together... Just wow! Definitely recommend this place and will be back!!

This place is the bomb! Happy hour drinks and tapas which are both a delight to the eye and the tummy. Staff is attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is trendy and lively. The counter by the kitchen changes color. The homemade popovers are divine! I love this little gem of a restaurant! ♡

Amazing food and service. I strongly suggest Elk terrine, Casablanca mussels are so tasty, onion soup is excellent. The cheese fondue is not Like French standard but corresponding more to American taste. You MUST finish with the amazing popover desert. Like a mix of a soufflé and pudding. Just totally great experience there.

Good service. French onion soup was great. The meatloaf was very dry. Pricy but hey, it's Avon after all...

Great place for lunch and drinks. We really, really enjoyed our lunch - food was excellent (truly), service was great, and selection was quite good. I can see how it might get tricky if it's real busy, but we hit it at a great time (of day/week).
