Used these guys for years. Never the warmest relation ship, but convenient. Until there was a problem. Sent my son in Canada his own guitar and a backpack with a few care-package-type things. Gal who packed it labeled it all as a gift instead of as his personal property, resulting in our having to pay a stiff duty that made it about a $250 total cost to ship. Neither she nor the receipt warned me of this possibility. Oh well, things happen and she was sweet and worked diligently to correct the situation. If it had stopped there, not a big deal. However, I WAS frustrated and completely dismayed by the attitudes of Owner John and Eric who both never saw any reason to investigate or apologize, washed their hands of the issue, insisted that there had been no possibility of any error on the store's part, and told me I was on my own to deal with getting the package delivered by calling a Canadian 800-number. Their rude and negligent attitude made what would have been a frustrating experience into an enraging one. They showed me that ultimately this is a place that just wants to take your money to tape up a box and offers no premium service or support over what you'd get if UPS picked it up off your porch.

Letter I left to the owner
John –
My name is -----, I have --------- and worked next door at ---------, we would bump into each other at ---------- fairly often. I had to write a note about how awesome your staff is.
I restore, collect and sell vintage drums doing 99% of my business online. The drums require very odd size boxes and no stores except the UPS store actually carry them in stock. Your employees are always very friendly, fast and helpful on the phone and in person. I have gone to staples a few times as boxes are 1/3 of the price there but the employees are miserable and they usually don’t have what I need.
This week I tried to order 24x24x6 inch boxes from them and I was given incorrect, dishonest information by the manager about a special order and it impacted my customer service and shipping time. I am done with Staples, your employees are much more helpful and I always get what I need with less drive and less attitude. Even walking into Staples, the kid who did my return smelled like he had not showered in a week and was definitely not using deodorant.
I have even been checking out and seen some difficult customers in line before me. Your employees were very patient with them and remained calm even as I was ready to bash the annoying patrons over the head. I hope you value and trust your employees as they do an excellent job, every one of them, every time.

Very conveniently located in the heart of Needham center. They have all necessary shipping supplies to get your package out the door. Very friendly and always informative about pricing and shipping options.
