The William Houck

It was delightful. The weather was sunny and cool. The Demo’s were clearly presented that people of all ages could appreciate and understand and even taste. The Maryland maple dnd sugar cane trees gave us their best to take home with us. With a walk on the beach and the sound of music drawing us we entered a tent filled with families. Dancing, Merry making artistic crafts with children decorated in colors and smiles. What could have been more enchanting.

I love this place. You will never be disappointed. It's beautiful here. The birds are a special place to visit. I love owls and this beautiful eagle was so majestic. I truly didn't want to leave. Turtles can be seen as well. Plenty of parking. Safe and clean. I must say I will make sure to come back to the bird house during business hours. Still its a absolutely perfect place to go.

Most camp sites are deep. Nearly 30'. Bath houses are very nice.

I LOVE the hike to the falls! Only a 1/2 mile one way, and if you go towards the evening it's not too crowded.

We came to check out the ice dam and flooding. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The campground was closed for the next week because of flooding. Really neat, I am tickled we were able to experience it.
