Greenbrier is a beautiful state park with a wide range of activities, in particular swimming, camping, and hiking. The swimming beach also offers boat rentals, and picnic tables with grilles are open on a first come first served basis. Larger pavilions can be rented. There is a day use fee (It varies depending on the time of year and day of the week), but all the activities make the fee well worth it.

Nice big heavily used park. Large sites. Hilly though. Can be interesting for the trailer folks, backing up slope. Note that most RV sites are electric only. No water.

Peaceful and quiet. Plenty of picnic tables and the bathrooms are clean. Friendly staff and beautiful scenery. Camping, swimming, picnic tables and children's play areas.

We have camped here at Greenbrier State Park twice now, both times in late April. We like the sites, level and well cared for. Staff has been very helpful and friendly. We will camp here again.

I love Maryland's state parks! They are all different due to their location and Greenbrier is one of the more popular parks. There are hiking trails and a man made lake with a beach for the summer. The park is insanely popular during the summer and anyone planning a visit should arrive very early as they reach capacity quickly, especially on holidays.
