Favorite place on earth. Every Marylander should bring their kids here for an event and learn our nation's history. My daughter loves reenactment costuming, she's grown up in it. Hit the 18th Century Market Fair the last full Weekend in April - you won't be sorry!

Very interesting place to visit. Admission is free although they do charge for parking (not that I saw anyone paying). They have a small store next to the fort and several people dressed in costume providing background about the history of the fort. Didn’t take too long to walk through it all, but it was still an interesting visit.

An amazing and fascinating historical site in Maryland. The staff there provides an excellent demonstration and sort of "realization" about this former British fort. You can really picture what it was like to be in this fort right near the Potomac River in Big Pool, MD.
