My car is a Ford Explorer 1999 XLT. Trailer plug brake lights were not working. Went in to have it fixed, by the uhaul service tech. He insisted that I have a new four way plug. Saying that the four way plug I had would not work. Mind you it used to work for years, but a wire came loose or something.
So he proceeded to install the new plug. After about a 1/2 hour, the Hazards and the turn signals wouldn't work. He didn't know what to do. Said, "Sorry man, I'm sorry but I can't fix it". WHAT? I can't leave without the turn signals. They worked when I came in, so did the Hazard lights.
My friend that was with me, suggested we check the fuses. yep, he had blown the Hazard fuse and the turn signal fuse. He replace the fuse and return to working on plug again. When he said he was done, the left signal worked ok, but when the right signal was on the right tail light AND the left brake light all flashed. Said that was the best he could do. And was planning on charging me full price of 150.00. He gave the plug to me and still charge me an hours worth of labor.
When I came in, the tail lights, brake lights and turn signals all worked. When I left now they are all screwed up and I'm out 100.00. He said to take it to another mechanic to have them fix it. My expense too. NOT, I'm not done with this. UHaul is still a good service. But this tech needs to go back to school and get re-educated on wiring.

I rented a uhaul for what was meant to be 1 night and it turned in to two weeks because something happened to my new place and I couldn't put my belongings in the house yet so it stayed in the uhaul. Uhaul continuously took money from my account which added up to 900 and then they came to my house and began tossing all of my belongings out into my front yard, breaking so many irreplaceable things of mine, threw my bed on my trash can outside and propped some of it against my neighbors car and put my kids toys behind her vehicle for No one to see. I took pictures of them doing this and of my belongings strewn in my front yard. Now I can see if they weren't helping themselves to my bank account and not getting any money but I've paid these people 900 dollars!!! Where in the fine print does it say uhaul can repossess there truck and break all ur things and damage ur neighbors vehicle with ur property if not returned even though I've paid them 900 dollars for 2 weeks and the truck barely moved 10 miles??? They knew where it was and came to check on it. When i called to ask them why they did this to my things, they said “this uhaul hadn't been checked in yet" These people broke things that are irreplaceable and had no empathy while doing it. I run a business with 50+ employees, never in my life did I feel the way I felt coming home to that. My children watched as these people thru their things on the ground with no remorse what so ever. I will NEVER use another uhaul in my life, nor will my kids or my kids kids, my friends, my family, I will make sure no one I know uses a uhaul cuz I'm gonna tell them what they did to me and my children. They knew where it was and took my money and broke my irriplaceable things and I called and they didn't even know what was going on!!!???? Thats all fine and well. I'm looking into it and they will be hearing from me soon.

I would give this store 0 stars if I could. I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance to install a hitch. I arrive at the appointed time and was told the part is not there and it would take another week They also told me that they don't have a tracking system for parts. So I wasted two weeks and the rep at the store had no idea when it would be there for the job. Absolutely terrible.

If I could rate this place based on their ability to avoid my phone calls then it would be a 5/5!
They sold me a storage unit that requires a keypad code or card swipe but the system doesn't work, so now I've gone 8 days of renting the storage and haven't even been able to get inside. I have less than 2 weeks to move out of my apartment due to a change in my career and decided to go with u haul storage because of the price and have been drastically let down. I can't get inside my storage unit because of the non working keypad security and then tried to call customer service but every time I was just transferred to different people who could not help at all with my situation or would hang up my phone call. I was even transferred to someone in Florida? Now I'm not sure how they're running things over there but I'm pretty sure that someone all the way in Florida can't help me at all with my situation. Also customer service recommended that I go to the office at the Gorst storage location for assistance which is funny because there is definitely not an office here, so I see that they have no idea whats going on at this location. The best customer service could do for me was leave a message at the office in Bremerton telling them to call me back which by the way you're lucky if they do, I had to wait over an hour just to get a phone call back from the office, how hard is it just to transfer me to the actual office? They also gave me the number of the "manager" but of course out the 8 times I called each one went to his voicemail, good job bud. Thank you U-haul storage of Bremerton & Gorst for making me waste my Friday and Sunday sitting at the location trying to get inside my storage unit! I must be crazy for thinking that I can actually store my Items in my storage unit I should have known it wouldn't have been that simple! I'm not even sure why I'm writing this review I'm not going to get anything out of it, I just hope if anything I can warn other people to not fall for this trap!
