U-Haul Moving & Storage of Wilmington

As usual U Haul will make you wait, and wait, and wait! We came at 8:58 for a 9:00 truck and didn’t get out of there until after 10! I never seen people move so slow in my life! There is no excuse for such poor service! You can’t run a place like this with one incompetent employee! Clearly, management is irresponsible! By the time we left there was 20 people in line and he acted as though there was no line at all! Get there an hour early if, like most people moving, time is important to you!

Went twice for propane and both times there was nobody who could pump it. The second time I called before I went and was assured that someone would be there. I showed up 10 minutes later and once again no propane.

I had a reservation for Sat morning. Lots of vehicles available. After the clerk finidhed refilling a propane tank, my vehicle was pulled out pretty quickly. It was a newer 15 ft van in good condition.

Juan the manager, did he collect 10 tokens from a cereal box to apply for this position. Do yourself a favor Juan and educate yourself on the terms and conditions of a U Haul contract. All fee's for all scenarios must be written into your contract so that the paying customer fully understands them all. Trying to charge made up fee's without informing paying customers first is total B.S., and not company policy. Terrible customer service, unable to defuse or fix issues, becomes petty and adds to making a bad situation worse. Zero stars for Juan at Wilmington U Haul, what a let down from a manager who clearly doesn't know anything about customer service. "Customer service is the act of taking care of the customer's needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer's requirements are met".
