The staff here are a complete joke. Absolutely horrible service, we were ignored when dropping off the van because it was a couple minutes before closing & they wanted to leave. Ignoring customers despite it being close to the end of the day is exactly why they are working retail at U-Haul. Not surprised, but still pathetic.

DO NOT USE FOR HITCH INSTALLATION. The call center and on-site staff who order, schedule, and bill do not communicate with those doing work. I arrived for an installation and the installer had left for the day. The district manager, Bryan, confirmed their scheduling staff pushes through times and orders that cannot be filled. Save yourself the time. Go anywhere else for a hitch installation.

I went in to purchase boxes and asked the employees for some help and was told they were too busy but yet I saw two employees on their phone behind the counter doing nothing.
I ended up buying some boxes that were overpriced. Then I ended up seeing when I got home the boxes weren't sturdy. The dishware boxes didn't come with the holder and the wardrobe box didn't come with the bar.
When I was there shopping I noticed an elderly lady employed by U-Haul yelling at the young lady at the counter then proceeded to yell at a customer. I didn't know what it was about but it was definitely not professional.

"If I could give this place no stars I would!", doesn't even sum up the incompetence of this location!
BUYER BEWARE! We ordered a hitch and installation for our vehicle and set the install to be done at this location. We were set with a day and time. On the day of install we were called maybe 30 minutes before and told it would have to be done another day because they didn't have all the necessary parts. Rescheduled and when it came to the day of install we arrived to drop it off only to find out low and behold the parts still weren't there. I mentioned that having a system in place to avoid this happening would be helpful. George was the name of the small minded individual that rudely snapped back with some excuse and another, which I felt was unprofessional and unnecessary. So once again we rescheduled...what we should've done was to listen to all of the signs of incompetence and just asked for a refund at that point in time. So here we are today! The day of install (again). We drop the car off, make sure they have ALL of the required parts and left for a planned day out celebrating my fathers 72 birthday. Only to get a call after we sat down for lunch by the notorious George telling my husband that they cannot complete the install. They "couldn't" (aka didn't know how) get my break light off, tried with force it and BROKE IT. Here's where it starts to get good...WE would have to go get a new break light cover and they would just reimburse us!! HA!! How bout no! How about you figure it out since you broke it! Hey I know YOU call Acura to make sure they have the part in stock and courier it to your location since "you're not allowed to leave the premises" George is very argumentative...a word he apparently doesn't understand the meaning to! Because all he wanted to do was try to dismiss his responsibilities and insist the ONLY way they would mend the issue would be for us to stop what we were doing, go get the part, reimburse us for the part and put a new one on.....um HELLOOOO GENIUS.... if you broke the thing in the first place BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T GET IT OFF, then how does it make any sense to do what you're suggesting???!!! We tried calling the GM 3 times with no success at all. Called the customer service line in which we were transferred a half dozen times and on the phone for 40 minutes just to file an official complaint so that it would be documented. This place is an absolute joke with rude, inadequate individuals that could care a less about providing quality service for their work. Prepared to get screwed! When my husband went to retrieve the car he was refused a full refund, had several of the staff arguing and insulting us about our RIGHT to a FULL REFUND. We did finally get the full refund but still will have to deal with them about the repair cost. Nightmare! Pay more and go take your business where professional and competent work AND customer service is a priority!

My truck was clean inside and out. The girl that helped me was cute but never checked the mileage when she or whoever she had pull up the truck. i got home and realized it said id already done 40 miles when i went 3. fearing I would be charged for the mistake I also made by not catching it right away, i begrudgingly returned and was given a 110 dollar total. but the dude with longer beard hooked me up by charging me the miles i actually went. i wish i got his name but if you are nice to these people they have no problem providing excellent customer service.
Just a heads up the call center that picks up the phone acts like they are on location but they really aren't so if you are trying to communicate with someone there at the Monument store they might not get whatever message you are trying to get them...
would recommend and use again.
