On Saturday, we were outside taking care of the yard with our dog at our side. I was standing on the sidewalk waiting for the mailman to come from the neighbors when he gets into his truck and drives past us and around the corner.
The dog had not made a sound, did not act menacing, or even look at the mailman at all. I went around the corner to talk to him and asked if there had been any mail for 509, and he yelled at me that if the dogs are out that he would not deliver mail to us.
My wife saw him when he came around to the next street and called across the street that we would have appreciated him pulling up next to me, opening the door a little bit, and explaining that he would not be able to deliver if there were any dogs out front even if we were with them and they were being really well behaved. All he would say was- you have to deal with my supervisor now!
Tuesday, we were outside talking to someone that had pulled up to see us, had our dog with us that hadn't made a sound, and did not see the mailman was parked down the street because we were occupied visiting, when we heard and saw the mail truck go tearing past us around the corner without delivering to us again.
We are willing to try and keep the dogs inside when we see this very rude 52 year old man that doesn't want to get bit coming, but we would appreciate some common courtesy from a service provider to explain his actions, understand that sometimes we do not see him and maybe need a honk to let us know he is there so we can put the dogs inside because we will be outside much more with good weather, and not act out of spite like Tuesday when he could tell that we were not aware of him and still chose to tear past us in his truck to show that he was making a statement.
If either I or my wife acted that way to those we serve in our lines of work, we would be fired.
Not getting mail is not the main problem here, it is the fact that he was extremely rude, condescending, and mean about it when we were just trying to find out what the problem was.
My dogs do like to bark at people sometimes, but we're out with them both of these times and they had not barked at him at all or paid any attention to him or shown any signs of aggression.
I have tried to call and talk to Mike Nelson, his supervisor, but can not get anyone to answer the phone there when I call.
Please get back with me in person so I can talk to someone about the poor customer service and rude behavior of this man.

The line wasn't long when I got there. just a few people. But it took me 45 minutes to send a letter. There was only 1 person actively working for the first 20 minutes, and the guy that was working was trying to satisfy a customer. Overall it took WAY too long. It needs more front desk employees, so that everyone doesn't get hung up because of one customer.
The inside seemed nice and clean. And the clerk that I ended up with was friendly and quick with my letter.
-3 stars for wasting 45 minutes of my time.
2 stars because the clerk was nice and the environment seemed clean.

Very helpful and knowledgable. I came in to renew my passport, bringing everything required beforehand and things ran very smoothly at the counter. She even helped me fit the papers into the envelope, knowing much better than me how to squeeze the papers into a bubble-wrap lined envelope without crinkling them.

Sharon just helped with our passport application. Super nice and friendly. Patient with our toddler. Could not have wished for better service.

They delivered my package to the wrong address and it's a miracle if they answer their phone. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.
