This post office is great, the clerks are nice if you know what you are doing and have everything ready to go. I go here every day and people come in unprepared and than get mad at the clerk. Some reviews are ridiculous, I have been able to use the post office since I was a kid, some of these adults come in and act like they have never shipped anything before and want the clerk to do it all. Come in prepared with your package or whatever else ready to go and you will have no problems.

Tired of having packages that are, CLEARLY, too small for a mailbox jammed into the mailbox, crushing the contents. Did you not receive a shape sorter as a child? The postal service needs to stop being lazy, get out of their vehicles, and walk packages to the door. UPS and Fed-Ex can do it, why can't you? It boggles the mind that regardless of whether you receive a package at a commercial or residential location, the "cram job" is the same. If you are too lazy to properly deliver a package, quit. If you are unwilling to deliver a package with a smile, quit. There are plenty of other people out there who would be grateful for a job, and perform far, far better than you under-achievers. I am forced to leave one star; that is two stars too many.

Fairly certain someone handling my packages and envelopes has been stealing. This has happened twice with packages. I have had packages ripped open with missing items and envelopes torn open looking for money/gift cards. Most recently a card from my sister was opened partially. This is a huge violation. The common place for delivery of all these items is USPS in Cottonwood Heights in all these instances. Do something about theft.
Look into your people better. Getting ridiculous. Our mailboxes are secure. Has to be someone handling the mail.
Gave an extra star because interactions in person at the post office have been alright.

If I was able to leave a -5 star rating I would for this location. The old Asian Lady, whatever her name is is the nastiest when it comes to customer service. She is EXTREMELY rude, unhelpful and needs to be FIRED from her job. EVERY SINGLE time I'm at this location I ALWAYS ALWAYS let the person behind me go so I don't have to deal with her... Next time she is rude to me or doesn't properly help me like she should be doing I will say something about her LOUD AND CLEAR in front of her to everyone including her boss. IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL the way she acts and treats all of the people walking through the doors. I would definitely recommend spending the extra $3-5 going through Fed EX or UPS.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. When I go to a post office I normally expect the worst - waits, the people, the rude clerk - but THIS POSTOFFICE in cottonwood heights is the WORST post office I've ever been to. The Lady (wish I remembered her name) who was "helping" me made me "stand aside" and verify my address... then proceeded to help another person making me wait an additional 15 minutes. When I got back in line I told her it was the correct address (like i had said/verified before) and she rudely told me that it wasn't going to be the post offices fault if they lost my package... great... Every time I go to this post office I feel awful when I leave. All those people need to be fired and they need to get new employees trained to better help customers!!! COME ON!!!! YOUR JOB IS NOT HARD... BE NICE AND HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE
