I'm not sure why people are complaining about this office, every time I have been there they are always polite and nice. This is not Wal-Mart and they don't have tons of people to help you. Be patient and wait your turn.

The service here is just terrible. Two weeks ago I put in a request to change the lock to my mailbox and it’s still not done. Every time I go in, they tell me it will be done tomorrow. Today I went in and it’s STILL not done. Instead of offering to help, the woman was rude, treated me like I was dumb, and told me to talk to someone else because she couldn’t help me. Then she let some guy she knew cut the line ahead of 5 other people. Definitely avoid this location if you can!

Today on Monday March 19th, I walk into the post office at 3161 S. West Temple for the first time. As I am approaching the counter a customer that is leaving says to me, "Whatever you need help with they can't help you." To my utter dismay his words rang very very true!! I explained to the clerk that the door on my mailbox at my apartment complex was broken and it would not lock. I requested for it to be fixed because someone stole my mail because the door will not lock. I was told to bring in my lease so they could verify that the mailbox was mine. She then told me that one of their representatives would come out to fix it. When I returned I spoke with Paige. Paige is an absolute imbecile. I explained to her that I had spoken with another employee about my broken mailbox and that I was there to present my lease as evidence that the mailbox in question was mine. She looked at me dumbfounded and asked me a few stupid questions before she walked off to find the lady I talked with earlier. When she returned she told me that a representative would come out and fix my mailbox then she handed me off to a different employee that asked me some more stupid questions before verifying my identification and lease. After she was done, she then explained that a representative would fix my mailbox.
To make this story a little shorter my mailbox was never fixed and on top of that the postman/woman put more mail into this broken mailbox. Take into consideration that I reported this at approximately 8:40am. I returned to the post office around 3:00 pm to inform them that my mailbox was never fixed and that I did not want them to place mail in it until it was. Paige copped an attitude with me and said, "Our guy has to look at it first!!" She also made some more stupid comments. Her tone and disposition was beyond vile which made me livid. I asked to speak to her manager who did not fare any better concerning customer service skills and professionalism. First of all, Robert took his sweet time making his way up to the counter. When he approached and I explained my problem he was unconcerned, aloof, rude, and smug with his response and attitude. He regurgitated the same answers as his pathetic employees. I had to conduct a full on interrogation to find out when my mailbox would be repaired. His reply was that it would take at least a month (which I find ridiculous and unacceptable). Nonetheless, this information should have been communicated to me from the beginning so I could put a hold on my mail. Before I left I informed this idiot that there were two other mailboxes that were broken and just swinging open as I walked off. He smugly said, "Thank you." After I drove off, I called the post office customer service department and made a complaint. Because I did not know their names, I returned to the post office to get them. In conclusion, Paige and Robert are two complete MORONS that should not be doing customer service work. In fact, they should both lend their time, energy, and mental capacities to counting every grain of sand on the Praia do Cassino beach.

I have always had a positive experience when ever I have been helped by an employee at his location. The storefront is also kept clean and organized which helps me to feel that my products will be taking care of at a professional level.
