UNM Hospital

Update 5-8-2018 - I received contact from the Joint Commission. They are going to send letter to facility in investigations into this facility. I have asked that this Hospital loose its Accreditation AND never be able to take payment for NOR work with Affordable Care Act or Medicaid again. UPDATE 10-25-2017 - No Change! UNMH Systems are Discriminatory against those with Medicaid, In speaking with Risk Management, they let me know that I do not deserve the same medical treatment and care as anyone who pays for this outright OR has insurance by employment BECAUSE I have Medicaid through the Affordable Care Act I am 'Catch All'. Because of this, my life is in danger at UNMH, anyone who has Medicaid for any reason their lives are in danger at UNMH! RUN FROM UNMH, DO NOT WALK, RUN AWAY FROM UNMH!!!!!

Well other than the fact that it's a hospital I couldn't have asked for a better staff!! Very attentive and cared very well for my young one! All staff members I encountered were very helpful as well as very caring concerned and always willing to assist. Thanks For the wonderful care UNM!!

I love INN because everybody is nice and really helpful here!. And the doctors and nurses are nice and really helpful also!. And wen your sick or something and u come here they all really check you out and run all kinds of tests and everything and if and when you're pregnant the ladies here and midwives really take good great care of you and you're little bundle of joy!. To come!.

They treat you like a responsible adult patient who can take part in your own recovery, unlike many places that treat you like a child, no matter your age or status. UNM is preferable to all other ABQ Hospital's.

One word for this place is AMAZING! My husband is currently in critical condition here at UNM hospital. They have taken such good care of him and been wonderful to me as well. During this hard time they have been very informative updating me every step of the way. Some of the nurses go above and beyond to make sure my husband is comfortable and I am as well. They are always there to talk to me and are all willing to explain anything I ask. If I could give it 100 stars I would.
