US Post Office

The women here are super quick and friendly. The new guy they hired is quite rude and doesn't match the customer service I usually receive. Someone teach him proper customer interaction!

I had two post office boxes here for one month. I've had six packages and several pieces of mail disappear/not arrive including six SIM cards for phones. I went to ask why and discovered they'd been returning ALL mail to both boxes for a month, since the day I opened them. They came up with a BS excuse that I needed to fill out another form "completely" but when they pulled the forms they had all necessary IDs etc. Their next BS excuse was that everyone in the family had to come in with driver's licenses and fill out their own forms, including our kids. That excuse might work if they didn't already have my ID on file (which they did). When I asked why they were returning "my" mail (because I'd already provided ID when I opened the box) they came up with yet another BS excuse. The owner, Stacey, is a fat old white woman with a very loud obnoxious voice. She yelled at me for 20 minutes and told me to go do my mail business in Corvallis. I didn't think it was possible for a post office to be worse than the main Albany post office, but I was wrong. SIM cards are missing, never sent back to the sender, and so are the six packages from Amazon (also never returned). There's a huge problem with USPS stealing mail in Albany. Everyone knows it. Everyone talks about it. But the PO boxes are worse. They charge you for stealing your mail. According to the feds, you can file a complaint with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Plug that into a search engine and click on the "file a complaint" and report your mail missing. Don't bother reporting it to USPS. They know and they aren't doing anything about it. Can't wait to leave this city. Toothless obese uneducated racist hillbillies.

Cash only for USPS Quick service and no waiting like the Post Office downtown. I go here or if I'm going south, I head to the Tangent office.

This is not the main post office in town. Good for shipping out of, though.
