I have always wanted to experience W Washington DC while visiting the capital. I finally had an opportunity to experience what this property has to offer. An extremely positive experience for the professional courtesy of the staff, W Washington DC staff were doing their best to attend, address and deliver an expected W experience. People is always what makes the business a difference between a single disappointing stay or a returning guest. W Washington DC furnishings in the general areas, restaurants and rooms are impeccable by Starwood standards. The room is chic and modern with plenty of unique decorations. You will be refreshed, looked after and have the opportunity to rest and relax away from the hustle of the capital.

My visit was a 3 day 4night stay and it was an amazing experience. Our room was nice, clean and centrally located. The staff from check in to check out were friendly, accommodating, informative and beyond pleasant. I would stay here again. They were consistent and very nice.

It's a beautiful venue to be sure. The drinks are fairly well made and the staff is courteous. The selling point though is 100% the view. One of the best in the city no doubt. However, the drinks are ridiculously expensive. For example, I bought two vodka tonics and a pineapple juice for $36 before tip. I'm sorry but that's a little ridiculous. Advice would be to pre game before you go.

We got lunch and drinks here. The view would have been nice if it wasn't raining. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was calm. Prices were a little high, but the quality was good.

Best Lamb Chops!! This is my preferred cut of lamb. It was very juicy and tender and literally melts in your mouth. I give this a 10 plus rating because of the extraordinarily good food at a respectable price and panorama scenic views. Must stop here even if you are just passing through. Conveniently located in the W hotel rooftop lounge (POV). The only downside is parking; it can definitely be a hassle.
