Their breakfast started at 7.30, however, I would go to them at 7 or 6.45 asking milk for my son. They were very accomodative with that. We stayed here for 5 nights. This place offered one of the best breakfast we had in our entire 12 day trip/among 5 different hotels in South Africa. The staffs were very gentle and great with kids, which was great. Room was very clean always. We stayed in family room, it was very spacious for us. Their body products were amazing. Nearby activities: This is in City centre, so it was walkable for our big bus tour and to most of our restaurants and also to the green Market. Walkability: It was pretty much walkable to the city centre areas. Food & drinks: There were around 3 to 4 restaurants just around the hotel and more restaurants across the road. So there were plenty of options available.
The staff was so attentive and friendly, from cleaning over security to reception. Nothing was too much, and attention to details was paid throughout my stay paper with the weather for tomorrow, turning on the lights in the room in the afternoon, their fluffy bath robes, free filtered water,…. Thank you!!Rooms: 5/5
Our 3rd stay in 2 years! Great location near central Cape Town sites, super staff, comfy beds, cutely furnished rooms, easy-to-access parking, wonderful breakfast, awesome restaurants in immediate vicinity,Rooms: 5/5
What an amazing experience. From the moment you walk into this lovely charming old hotel, you’re welcomed by lovely staff and a welcome drink. All the staff were lovely, especially Sam and Hilton, who were quick with any requests we had. The rooms are spacious with ample amenities such as a mini fridge, safe, robes and water/coffee/tea facilities. The bathrooms are equipped with a bath and a shower, and all the lovely finishes were a nice touch. There’s a jacuzzi and sauna on the rooftop, which was perfect with a bottle of wine at sunset. There were a few niggly maintenance issues, which I reported and was promptly sorted out. This is a PRIME location and a FANTASTIC hotel. Definitely will be making use of it on my trips to Cape Town.
the courtyard in which the hotel is located has a wonderful atmosphere. the architectural heritage is well preserved and maintained, the staff is super friendly and attentive! TheRooms: 5/5
Great staff, can be noisy at night because of the restaurants near by.Rooms: 5/5
The staff at the Hotel is always so friendly and the proffessionalism is next level, and they always make you feel as if you in the comfort of your own home, i will definately recommend the Cape Heritage to anyone.Rooms: 5/5
Fantastic Hotel in a lovely area. A courtyard with bars was brilliant. Staff so friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here againRooms: 5/5
This hotel was wonderful! The building is beautiful and historic, the staff was unbelievably helpful and the location was great. We called to schedule a pickup from the airport and they sent a very nice and helpful man to pick us up. Once at the hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful whenever we passed through or walked out and one employer Elvis even walked us to the nearest ATM to make sure we made it there safe. The hotel was also on a street with a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars as well as close enough to a lot of attractions which also has the drawback that it can be very busy and loud outside. The only thing that was of a minor inconvenience were the light switches in our room. We stayed there for 4 days but we never figured out how they worked so we would just click a bunch of combinations until the light we wanted turned on. But other than that, the hotel was amazing and we'd definitely come back to stay again. Nearby activities: Near the City Center, Bo-Kaap and Table Mountain NP Walkability: A walk to the V&A Waterfront is possible, the Center is within a 5 minute walk Food & drinks: It's on a street with a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars Noteworthy details: The hotel has a restaurant and bar in the courtyard as well as a small gallery, library and the oldest wine-producing vine in South Africa
Great hotel and location. Amazing courtyard with different bars and restaurants, all very unique. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, spacious, vintage, with all modern comfort. Bathrooms are the size of a normal hotel room! Breakfast excellent. There's also a lot of interesting contemporary art in every corner. The only critique would be: avoid room 105, it's next to the exaustion pipes of all the restaurants, noisy and smelly. You can't open the window. We would certainly go back.
