Glensheiling Caravan Park

Very serene site, clean and tidy. Julie is a perfect host. The dam is clean, the sites are clean and the bins are emptied daily. The bathrooms are dated, but they are clean, and the hot water is very hot. The walks around the Park are beautiful and cater for various degrees of fitness. The kids love the dam, and the variety of boats and canoes that they can paddle with are a hit. Definitely recommendable.

A beautiful setting next to a dam with many big trees. The children enjoyed paddling on the old boats and paddle ski's provided. The caravan we rented was smelly, looked dirty and had a leak. Will definitely NOT recommend staying in the provided vans. Safety: Even though there is a motorized gate, anybody can open it from both sides.

Glensheiling Caravan Park is situated near Nottingham Road to take full advantage of the Midlands Meander. The camp sites are on the banks of a beautiful lake in a wonderfully green wooded park. Julie is very "hands on" and makes you feel like one of her family. The "bush walks" were well demarcated and interesting.

Beautiful setting with a dam, and well kept. 2 old rustic ablutions, but they were clean and had their charm. 1 newer ablution. I think those cabin/caravan combo's have served their purpose though...

Nice grassed sites, quite a lot of big shady trees. Electricity available. Dam for fishing, swimming. Ablutions really not great. Nearby activities: Close to Nottingham Road village for charming Midlands Meander shopping and eateries.

Glensheiling has upgraded ablutions. Set in the beauty of the midlands. Stunning venue.. We are so looking forward to welcoming you and your family and friends to our little piece of paradise

Family friendly camp site with bass fishing and canoeing. Owner hands on and helpful. Ablutions have been upgraded which made our stay comfortable Hidden gem along the Midlands Meander.

If I could give less then 1 star I would. Visited this site just before Covid hit. Absolutely appalling site they have obviously not invested one cent in the place over many many years. Ablutions dire would not shower my dog in them. As to the static caravans/lodges for hire they look so run down and decrepit I fail to understand that anyone could hire them unless your are an inspecting first time visitor. Suggest to find somewhere else to stay. Once bitten twice shy

Just love the setting next to the fishing dam. Very friendly owners and ablutions been renovated, lots of hot water. Definitely go there again.
