Hoogwater Farmlife and Accommodation

Great place to visit for the morning or for a weekend getaway. It's my second time visiting the cottage and it's a great, comfortable and modern cottage with all you need. Madri is super friendly. Stroll through the orchards and pick and eat the delicious figs and peaches.

We probably chose the coldest, wettest weekend to visit Hoogwater farm. We stayed at the cottage and it was very cosy & comfortable. The indoor fireplace was perfect! Due to the weather we didn't get to explore the farm but got to explore Tulbagh & the Olive farm. Hope to return to walk in the fruit orchards. A very relaxing weekend was had, Thank you Hoogwater!

We had a GREAT morning picking fruit while eating as much fruit as our poor tummies could hold. Lots of fun and laughter with friends and family. “Where memories are made” Oh yes… you must try the delicious cheesecake and fig preserves!! Sooooo Yummy!

Awesome fruit picking experience with a very friendly staff welcoming you with a smile from the start. Spent an two hour to fill two baskets with peaches and quality time with kids in the open play area. There deli has jams, fresh farm chicken eggs. Peaches were as the size of large apples, the basket cost 65 rands and easily take more than 4 kgs of fruit. #thefruitexperience #hoogwaterfarm #capetown

We went to Hoogwater for the fruit picking experience again this year and again they didn't disappoint. The staff are friendly farm is nice and don't forget the fruit!!! The peaches are awesome,big and sweet. The figs where just as good and the best part is that you can eat and pick at the same time. A short 1h30min drive from Cape Town, Hoogwater is a picturesque farm to visit. The produce you can pick are fantastic quality and great value for money. Many picknick areas as well as snacks and beverages to purchase at the farm. Come early to avoid walking in the hot summer sun. Perfect to place to bring the family.

Amazing experience to pick fruits and the price for a crate is really affordable. Time goes quickly, so you won't be here too long- advise planning activities nearby, picnic, or staying at the farm if you are traveling from afar.
