Kleine Paradys, Piketberg

Out of all the camping places we visited through the years, this is definitely our favourite. Your own clean bathroom, under roof warm water swimming pool and cold outdoor swimming pool, well stocked on premises Cafe. The putt-putt course looks like new and well looked after. Herman and his wife are really awesome hosts, willing to help wherever they can. They will see us again and again!

Well managed park with consistent and friendly owner involvement. Lots of commercial activities for the kids, heated pools, slides and water park, zip line, putt putt, bike park overgrown and peddle car track sandy. Shop is well stocked with meat, treats and lots of essentials. River also has talapia which makes for easy fishing for the kids and bird life is abundant and kayaking can be done. Time your visit as during harvest season Jan/Feb the very nearby grape farm operates 24/7 so noise levels are unfortunately unavoidable and can be reality that farm workers sing and trucks are moving throughout the night. Rivierplek site is quite a distance from the pools and activities so bikes or vehicle will be needed unless you don’t mind the walk.

#Kampoppieplaas!!! What a place to just relax and enjoy nature. The ool's waterslide is the best for the kidz and the waterpark is truely a farm enspired experience. Defnitely a place to visit and make memories!!!

We had a lovely stay at Kleine Paradys this weekend. Really enjoyed listening to the farm sounds, the beautiful night sky & the sunrise over the mountains. We stayed on Riverplaas 8 which was perfect for us as it’s fenced off so our 3 year old son had plenty of space to play & we knew he couldn’t go too far. The private ablutions are a big bonus. We didn’t make full use of the facilities at the main area Bloekom park because our stay was just a bit too short but there’s a lovely play area for the kiddos, a well stocked shop & awesome swimming pool with a slide. The staff were also super friendly & helpful. So a great stay all round, we will definitely be back - for longer next time.

We had a wonderful stay at Kleine Paradys. We were there from Wednesday to Sunday. Wicus the manager always made sure we were happy and had all we need. The owner made sure to check up on us. The facilities were immaculate and the private ablutions were such a bonus xx Celeste in the office was so helpful and responded to e mails and calls straight away. It is a well run and beautiful campsite. We will definitely be visiting again.

There is no way you can tell someone how special Kleine Paradys is. It's one of those places where you just have to experience it yourself, it's a once in a lifetime. We discovered it by chance last year November and since then we have been back 4-5 times already this year, for one very big reason. Its the one place where we are welcome to bring our 2 Great Danes, and boy these dogs love's the space they get to thrive in at Kleine Paradys. In summer we love swimming in the river from the morning to the evening and at sunset we go for walks with them. The staff are truly incredible, Celeste & Ferdi, plus so many more always makes us feel at home. I had an accident late one night when I cut my hand open with a knife whilst cooking and without having to ask, Ferdi called the Dr for me in Piketberg. The staff all popped in the next day to check if I was okay. Nothing is ever to big or to small for the team at Kleine Paradys. They even offered to get some food items from Veldrif Spar for me that they don't keep in the shop at the resort. Celeste is always friendly and excited to make a booking for us and there is no place that has ever made us feel so much at home especially my furry "babies". I cannot wait to retire one day, I would easily stay here for a month or two at a time and just drink in the uninterrupted beauty. It's one of a handful of camping spots where I feel 100% safe to sleep with my doors open. They service the bins almost daily, and the bathrooms are always spotless. I truly only have gold stars for this resort. Its truly a Kleine Paradys!

Totally surprised at the cleanliness, friendliness and layout of this beautiful campsite. Near major beach towns like Velddrif, Laaiplek, etc. Campsites positionef along the riverside. Lots to do for the kiddos as well. Shadenet over caravan, private ablutions.

We've visited Kleine Paradys in February 2021 for the first time and what a great time we had! Our camp site was neat wonderful green grass and we had our own ablution block an absolute bonus which was very clean on arrival. The staff at the reception/shop was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel immediately welcome when we've arrived. And thumbs up for a bright and clean swimming pool - on a hot summer day, this was exactly what we've needed! We hope to see you guys soon again - keep up the great work!
