Lebanon Citrus Holiday Farm

Spectacular camping getaway setting!! Clean and well thought out facilities right on the edge of the fresh water Clanwilliam Dam. Private and secluded this branch off of the Dam has a peaceful and spacious vibe offering Carp and Bass fishing as well as facilities to launch your own water sports vessel, be it boating, paddle boarding, kiting etc. Most stunning sunsets over the water and the smell of the citrus in the warm summer breeze at night is breathtaking. Small wooden cottages are available also nestled on the banks of the Dam close to the waters edge surrounded by established greenery and trees for shade. Would recommend Lebanon Citrus farm to all who love the tranquility of nature and Carp fishing.

UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE. We were playing music at 7 in the eveningStill broad daylight in the summer, and were approached by the manager/owner EXTREMELY rudely. I understand following the rules, and my peers and I are more than happy to comply, but if there is any concern, the service should politely inform you, instead of running up to you and yelling at you like a child. This is not the way to treat ones customers. Very disappointed.

If you're not a dog lover you might be irritated by other campers dogs. Other than the canines running around the camping sites are clean and tidy. Ablutions are very neat. There is water off course and the views and sunsets are stunning. The host, Natasha made us feel very at home. Will definitely return.

2nd visit to Lebanon in under a year. They have an amazing setting on the banks of Clanwilliam dam, and the campsites are well grassed and neat. Close to the Cederberg mountains for a day drive out. However the bathroom/shower facilities are in need of an overhaul. In a neglected run down state at the moment, and some of the showers don't work very well. Bathrooms don't seem to be serviced very regularly with toilet paper and gas running out over the course of our long weekend stay. Bathrooms were also locked when we arrived and had to call office to have them opened, at the beginning of a long weekend. If they can address these issues it would be a 5 star spot.

Still nice and clean to stay but you can see that it needs attention. Tiles on floor is showing lots of wear and curtains is in shambles.

Lovely gettaway to escape the hustle and bustle. Cell reception is not always best , but that is the whole point of a gettaway. If dam levels are low watersports is limited but dont let that stop you from enjoying the well maintaned lawns in the camping area to the comfortable wodden bungalows.

This place has absolutely no dam. It's is dryer than the desert. Made the most of it by drinking and braaing but make sure you have things to keep yourself occupied. There is no water sking, horse riding etc. The picture below is where the water is meant to be. Also take some doom with you, the flys are a bit crazy.

If you are a hardcore fisherman. Like I am. Its a lekker place to visit caught 27 karps in 24hour session. No barbers . Not one karp les than 3.5kg. I'm going in September again. Biggest karp caught was 6.5kg. I know there is bigger. Can't wait to go back and get them

On the dam and a lovely camp site. Lots of space for kids to play and thoroughly enjoy the water.
