Cederkloof Camping Villages

We stayed here during some intense flooding that washed away a part of the bridge to and from Citrusdal. George, Jethro and Alex were incredibly helpful and accommodating despite everything that was happening. We did get one night at Harpuis and it was really nice, but the staff were so fast, efficient and helpful when we got stuck due to the flooding.

My family and I just got back from an awesome camping experience at the Golden Valley campsite. The villa was neat, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Having your own Fridge when camping is a huge bonus!! The temperatures were 30 plus the whole time but when you go sit on the pontoons floating on the river, it is so pleasant! The kayak trip upstream was awesome, we even saw an owl sleeping in a tree. There are some minor maintenance issues but the overall experience was wonderful. It really makes camping effortless. Oh, did I mention that there were clean flushing toilets and showers with hot running water? Who could ask for more!! We are already planning our next trip!

We just got back April 2023. Almost all people on the sites had their food stolen. 2 people were arrested, and some stuff returned. Got a lovely river, no walking trails, toilets advertised only at top of site, rest use basic toilets and showers need attention, tents are worn and mattresses look good but are well worn, kitchen pack your own stuff and keep all of it under lock and key. A lot of maintenance is needed. No real events except in prime season Very disappointed maintenance and quality control are terrible. This camp could be awesome, walking trails would be lovely if there were any. A pool would be great, just the river cannoons are rented, Guys need to pull up there socks.

What an amazing, relaxing and clean space to spend with family and friends. Almost Everything you need is already set up and prepared for you. This was our second visit and we were pleasantly surprised by our own fridge/freezer. Extra basins are needed in the Biesievlak communal bathrooms and kitchen. The views are so beautiful. The river is so refreshing and clean for swimming and canoeing. The clear night sky with all the twinkling stars are practically unrivalled. Will definitely be back!

We came here for a family festival and it was amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful and everything is so clean. The river isn't ice cold but its cool enough to enjoy in the blistering heat. The kayaks available are great! Just don't take the side river rapids as you have to walk the kayaks back up those rapids hahaha. The kitchens are well stocked and the fridges keep your food cold but aren't designated so someone might claim your ice. There are trees for hammocks if you have one and you can have bedouin tents. They're a bit pricey so not really budget camping but it's worth it if you're up for treating yourself or the family

It is camping not Glamping despite the fact that they have most amenities it doesn’t all function very well. I would recommend taking with your own gas stove the electric plates we had in both camps were extremely slow. It is a nice place to get into nature, the view is beautiful the river is alot more shallow than I expected. Canoeing is fun but the prices are not the same as the website. They now rent it out per hour. The rooms were clean, the bathroom situation is definitely not great. The shower goes from boiling hot to ice cold with in a few seconds so you gotta hop in and out. The fire pit is really cool nice to chill around with the family. The service was good, the website says no animals aloud but there were two campsites with dogs. Overall if you want a proper camping experience this is the place for you. If you more of a glamper then try another option.

Great destination for the whole family or just for yourself. Epic times in the water on and off the floats, clean facilities, helpful team!

An amazing relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of town. Listening to the sounds of the wildlife while sipping on freshly ground coffee on the deck or in the jacuzzi. Plus the on site hike is Fantastic!

Beautiful camping site with the river as background, tents already conveniently set up, kids will love this place.

Loved this place...will definitely be going again and again.
