Awesome for the outdoor enthusiast... Great bonding time with nature, family and friends.
What a glorious 5 nights at Jamaka Resort. Camping site spacious. Waking up to the sound of running water which comes from the mountain. Own little Rock pool in your "own backyard" for little ones to play in or grownups to sit in and cool down, if you too lazy to walk to one of two rock pools. Zip line kept kids busy for hours at a time. We met a horse that visited our campsite. The bathrooms was kept clean and tidy by staff and the campers. One toilet was not flushing and this was reported a and fixed in a jiffy. The water pressure of the showers was not that great but we could live with that. All and all a great experience for our city kids to have. My teenagers went exploring a new hiking trail each day. The owners friendly from the moment I made the booking I felt welcomed.
Beautiful location, with 3 swimming places and stunning mountain walks. Cute horse that roams the campsite. No toilet paper provided, but bathrooms are clean. Bring your own sink plugs for washing dishes. Depending on the location of your campsite, there is not much privacy and people walking on the road can see your whole space. Wifi at the campsite cafe, and at the office which is a 5 min drive from the campsite. Friendly people. Campsite is very big so there will be lots of people, not ideal for a quiet getaway. Overall it was a good stay.
Stunning views, the hike is a must! Friendly staff, horses and dogs. Very fun activities such as zip line, volleybal, chilling in natural swimming pools. Great service, warm water, delicious chips. I would recommend adding more variety to the menu chicken strips is always a winner.Rooms: 5/5
First time camping here on our motorcycle but glad we did. Awesome site, pleasant atmosphere and a darn awesome place to pitch a tent. Will be back. Food & drinks: Reasonable prices at the café
Beautiful campsite with amazing rock pools for swimming...clean ablutions and many activities for the kids....PSA long gravel road to the campsite and the showers are solar powered so never a guarantee of super hot showers...other than that a perfect spot for some rest and relaxation Rooms: 5/5
Brilliant place but they had dogs that hung around the swim areas. One of the children got bitten. Would recommend taking an ultrasonic bark service to sort the dogs out then this would be a 5 star review.Location: 5/5
Amazing location, tranquility, and rejuvenation of the body and soul. Camping sites and chalets are available at great value. A must for families who live nature and camping.Service: 4/5
Most breathtaking views, safe, large campsites, neat ablutions, very friendly and accommodating owners & staff. We are full time campers and enjoyed a full year stay. The streams and river pools are amazing in the hot months, the mountains are at their most beautiful during winter and spring months. There are beautiful hiking trails throughout forestry areas in the valley and through the mountains. Jamaka organic farm & resort will always be highly recommended by us.
Well located huge camping spot next to the river. Each stand is private with fences or bushes between. Stone houses also available. Electrical points and water. Clean ablutions. The access road is gravel and in a bad condition. The general appearance of the place is a bit rugged. Somewhat backpackers vibe. Definitely a good place for young campers in groups. The Shop down by the river only sells beer and no coffee.
