Very good food and service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds but in need of some TLC. The large bar area is spectacular, sitting on the rocks overlooking the waves. We went on a recommended hike along the river. It was poorly marked, overgrown and pretty Impossible to traverse as described in the brochure during high tide which we were not warned about. Be warned, the road in from the N2 is highly potholed and needs careful driving, preferably in a 4x4.

Had a fantastic long weekend, 15 to 19 June 2023. As usual service, food and team were the best. Planning to go back in 6 months time. Just a pity road from Willowvale to Hotel had suffered severe wash aways from recent heavy rains. Food & drinks: Highest quality.

Outstanding value for money- located in a lovely rural location, perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful nature of South Africa. Great food on the resort and the staff are super friendly also. Make sure you do the quad biking and kayaking activities. Will definitely come back anytime I’m in and around the eastern cape.

What an amazing family holiday! We absolutely loved this family hotel! It was one of our best holidays ever! A stones throw from the sea. Lovely pool area. Bar and entertainment area right on the rocks. We made so many amazing new friends. There are 3 beautiful beaches, plenty of rock pools to explore. Excellent fishing in the sea or river. Horse riding. Great activities for the kids and adults. You hear the waves breaking wherever you are and especially falling asleep at night. The owners, Violet, Daan, Siska and Theunis really go the extra mile. We loved the food, thank you Dean. I cannot complement the staff enough, they are excellent, especially Zintle who looked after us at breakfast, lunch and dinner! Agnes at the bar is a legend and Tembisa, Nash and Busi also deserve a mention. Thank u all! We will be back.

Was good, only thing for tourists would be to have Internet in the rooms be great, the food was fabulous and the staff were too.
