We found the staff very friendly. Only complaint i have is that after my dads op in the morning he hadn’t eaten since the night before they would not give him anything to eat or DRINK till the doctor saw him late afternoon. I find this cruel and unacceptable. Especially after having anaesthetic, your mouth is dry. I don’t understand this level of care at all.
Pray to whichever God you fancy that you never end up in the ICU in this place. Very bad service, staff is generally unfriendly, shows virtually no pride in what they do and it now transpired that my mother was not administered her chronic medication for almost the whole week she was in ICU. This is after we provided all her chronic medication pre-packed in blister packaging WITH the script chart that indicated the medication regime. As she was hospitalised in a hurry her care facility provided the original chart to be copied. This original chart was lost within a day without our knowledge and her medication was dumped on a lower shelf of the work station at her bed which, by the way, was a total mess. Not once were we contacted or asked when we visited to try and resolve the issue. After four days one sister chewing gum audibly with her mouth open asked us where her medication was and when we said it was provided with her script chart she very rudely responded that they do not lose things there. That was when I discovered the blister pack dumped beneath rubbish at the work station with the chart nowhere to be found. When government implements their NHI, this facility will already comply with the standards. Pity one cannot write a review without any stars.
I was not happy with the service here My dad was booked for an operation for 6:30am and he was informed he will be the first one in theatre but to my surprise, people white people who arrived late were attended before us. If it was up to me I wouldn’t even give a single star. Undeserving
Worst ER in the country. Cannot call themselves an ER Avoid this place. Not even worth one star. Rather go to ZAF ER
Staff are disrespectful, unco-operative and not trained properly and equipment and facilities not maintained correctly. If you are searching for a hospital to die in, this is the one for you.
Our precious mother was admitted to the intensive care ward at Jacaranda Hospital in December 2020. She was ill and frail at 81 years old. Our family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors that took such amazing care of her. She was treated with dignity and tenderness. Our questions and concerns were addressed in a professional and caring manner. Our mother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones and a our pastor friend. For this we will always be grateful.
Hi. I am currently a patient in the hospital. And want to say how extremely grateful I am to have such an great experience since I walked through the doors. Lawrence at reception is helful and extremely friendly. He really is a fantastic person. The x-ray staff are so helpful and nice. I've been help by two other private hospitals and the staff was so rude. So this was a walk in the park. And then really to all the staff in 3b I can not complain about their service. They are friendly, helpful and explains everything so good. They are only a bit loud at times but what us work without a bit of fun? I want to say thank you for making the stay a pleasure for me.
This is one of the worst hospitals ever! They don't care about their patients at all, you fall on a wet, slippery floor and hurt yourself? They don't care. A professional who works in their hospital insulting a patient? THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL. All they care about is money. I wonder how many people got injured in the hospital and were ignored, I just wonder. Oh and if you report it to the manager of the hospital, they'll tell you "Sorry but there's nothing we can do about it"
