I recently had to relocate to Connecticut due to health reasons. The move had to happen quickly. I had difficulty finding a place that would accept a rapid short term lease as well as to accept my pet. The apartments at Aspen Glenn Drive were the answer to my dilemma. They were able to meet all the challenges my relocation presented. The complex itself is well maintained, the residents I have met are friendly and I feel very safe. The staff was very gracious, kind and accommodating. Within a week, not only did they provide a beautifully bright, well designed, functional, and clean apartment, but provided reference to other facilities/services that assisted with my relocation (furniture, television services, etc.).
What I did not realize upon my acceptance of this lease was the beauty of this location. Aspen Glenn Drive apartments are centrally located between two major shopping centers (5-15 minutes away) as well as it provides access to local restaurants, pharmacies, post offices and banks (within a few blocks). Additionally, the apartment is 10-20 minutes to major roads (I-91 and Rt 15).
If you are looking for a nice place to live in Hamden, I strongly recommend this place. I typically do not write reviews however, my experience at Aspen Glenn Drive has been such a life-saver I felt others should know.

Nice large apt. Responsive leasing staff. Well maintained apt and property. Service request can be submitted online or by phone, with quick turnaround. Plenty of parking.

A few months ago we sold our 4 bedroom home after 24 years, and moved into Aspen Glen, and it's been great. The apartment is very comfortable and well laid out, and the view from our third floor balcony looking West is gorgeous. The neighbors are quiet. Very happy with our move.

The place is beautiful and the moving in experience was great. However, to say that the maintenance is poor would be an understatement – there hardly seems to be any maintenance at all! When we moved in, we noticed a problem with the toilet tank: it would keep running all the time, without coming to a stop. We reported it and ask for maintenance to come. A few days later, no one showed up, so we asked again. And then again. And again. And again. Each time we were told to be patient. Five weeks later, I fixed it myself. Maintenance never bothered to show up. Meanwhile, we were paying for all that water that was wasted. But the really scary part was knowing that the management felt comfortable ignoring a leak which could have easily flooded the entire building if the toilet got clogged...

2017 - A year ago I posted that the staff made it a pleasant experience while I moved in.....A year later I had a same experience while moving out too. Entire move out process was smooth and received my deposit back.
Shannon was always there to answer any questions, address any concerns. Leasing office staff and maintenance staff are ever supportive and always cater to our needs.
I had to relocate to a different city and hence had to move out of this place, else I would have definitely continued to stay in Aspen.
Nice community and a good place to live. Moved only a month back and started liking the place. Leasing office team was very cooperative through out the agreement steps. I really appreciate Val's efforts as she went a mile ahead to ensure that the move in happened on the same day as targeted and this made me feel really happy.
Although the apartment was not ready when I moved in, the maintenance team got on the job immediately and fixed everything in time.
Would like the maintenance team to see if they can spare about 15 minutes of their time to the new residents like me to explain things around in the apartment on how to use stuff like that as it would be really helpful.
I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues.
