DO NOT MOVE HERE! All the negative reviews are true and on point. I have so many things to say that I don’t know where to begin! Management turns over every single week and is horrible. They are very dismissive and do not care about their tenants. Living here is like living in the housing projects. The garbage is always over flowing and the grounds are dirty. The grounds are run down, the staircase and other areas are very dangerous. There are pot holes everywhere! The snow removal or should I say lack of was a joke! I was surprised that they did not clean up properly. The parking lot was a ice skating rank along with the stairs. I am surprised that they are not afraid of law suits. My husband and I document everything thing that happens here in writing so if need be we have proof of how they neglect everything. If I or of of my family members get hurt on this property I am will sue their butts off! How many times can one complain and nothing happens. I am ready to turn of the spot light on Seramonte to publicly shame them for all the wrong they are doing. My latest complaint is my neighbor who smokes such a strong marijuana that it made my husband and I sick and wake up out of our sleep! Seramonte’s response was pathetic. The rent that they charge is not worth for anyone to move here.

Gosh google doesn't have negative stars. i dropped in to check the apartments and the guy at the leasing office was least bothered about the customers. He is surely not the right guy doing sales job. He denied to show the apartment and asked to take some appointment and come back again. This was when he was sitting idle with no one around. This place should surely be boycotted. Didn't face this issue anywhere else. The sales team in other places were very courteous and more than eager to make the deal. On the other hand this place is handled by arrogant sales guy

If I it was possible I honestly wouldn't even give them One Star. DO NOT move here. I have lived here 3 years and this place has gone DOWN. They have a one woman cleaning crew. I don't even blame her for this place smelling and looking dirty. One person can't handle such a huge complex. I have concluded that the new owner could care less about this place as he lives in his nice home. I also know that his manager possibly could care less as She/He lives in their nice home as well. This place has officially turned into projects. They now rent to ANYONE as long as they have money to put down. I've heard some recent stories from neighbors and it makes me cringe. I came from New York to Hamden and I LOVE this town. But I HATE Seramonte. They started construction and they haven't even began to complete anything. They want to blame the weather on why NOTHING is getting done.

I have lived at Seramonte for two years; the first year under their old management. I thought those guys were bad enough, but somehow the new management seems to be even worse.

The snow removal this year was an absolute joke. For a solid WEEK after the first major storm we had (which wasn’t even that bad by CT standards), the sidewalks were covered with frozen snow that had barely even been touched with a shovel. The paths to the dumpsters and any common areas were almost impassable. It got worse as the week progressed because the snow melted, refroze, and turned to ice.  

This is particularly dangerous for people who don’t have cars (such as myself) and depend on sidewalks, because both entrances to the Kaye Vue Drive portion of Seramonte are steep hills that are impossible to climb when covered in ice. I was literally walking in the middle of the driveway at times because it was the only area free from snow and ice. I sent them two emails with photographs of the snow covered sidewalks (the first of which was ignored), only to be told we’ll do better next time. Yeah, okay. 

One of my coworkers was considering moving here, and all I had to do was show him some pictures I’ve taken around the complex to convince him it wasn’t a good idea. Seramonte looks pretty nice on their website, but in reality the grounds poorly kept, there are crater sized potholes in the parking lot, and everywhere you look, there are half finished construction projects that make Seramonte an ugly and depressing place to live. Don’t bother trying to contact the property managers either; they will be rude, dismissive and simply tell you “WE ARE WELL AWARE OF THE ISSUE”. If you’re aware of the issues....why aren’t you doing anything about them? 

Oh yeah, and did I mention my rent was increased when I resigned my lease? That’s a really good way to retain residents. From what I’ve seen in the two years I’ve been here, I am pretty confident that this place is going to keep declining in quality at a rapid rate. 

In short: I cannot wait until my lease is up so I can run far away from Seramonte and never come back.

Just called to try and get some information on possibly renting for a few months. The man that answered was incredibly rude, short, and not in the slightest bit helpful. When looking for a place to live, I want to know that the staff will be helpful and nice. I will not be renting from them based on a 3 minute phone conversation I had with the man that answered the phone.
