Avis Car Rental

Great experience! Fast, professional, polite, and efficient! Even better, I got lucky: I had rented a relatively cheap park, and they upgraded me to a CORVETTE for half of what it would normally cost. Best rental car experience I've ever had, would definitely rent again!

The people running this place are unprofessional and rude. Avis has been great across but this location had been absolutely horrible. I had a billing issue which I resolved with customer care and they said at checkout/car return the charge will be proper. When I returned I mentioned this to the guy who did our car inspection and he sent me inside to get the receipt. When I entered and greeted the lady inside, she received a call, she picked up the phone when I was right in front of me without excusing herself. She took my receipt, I mentioned while she was on the phone that I’ve a billing issue so please confirm before you check in the car, but she ignored, continued chatting on the phone and checked in my car and printed the receipt with the issue still existing. When I tried to tell her that she said we Will resolve it tomorrow. (While still being on the call) I’m not asking a five star hotel treatment, but I expect general courtesy and respect from employees. Also if you are not ready to listen to the customer then the whole point of customer service seems like an irony. I received this treatment while being a Prefered plus member using my corporate booking, I can only imagine what happens to poor walk ins. Generally really happy with Avis, but this experience makes me feel Avis has no standard across the country - in San Francisco they have great courteous staff while on the east coast the story is different. I’m probably going to push my company to stop using Avis as their corporate partner or atleast make sure they notify us that such treatment is expected.

I rent a van vith friends for a tour in New England. At my arrival the car vas ready, clean, in very good conditions. The girl at desk was fantastic: helpful, competent. Check-in and check-out very fast. Thanks to Avis for our tour without any problems

Watch out for hidden cost - our rental price tripled relative to the reservation!!! Customer agent made wrong claims about included miles, added an insurance without explanation, rushed us to sign a contract. car had hidden damages which were not marked. overall a very disappointing experience. Avis we fool you harder.
