Beach Bum Motel

Room and stay was great. Perfect location near the boardwalk and the beach. Pool was nice

We had the best time at the beach bum motel! After we arrived to our clean and cozy room (with a microwave and multi shelf mini fridge) we ended up buying some sodas from the main office. We were given a free drink cozy with our purchases of only four sodas (which were very affordable at 1 dollar each). The bathroom was clean and the shower had optimal water pressure and there were no issues with the hot water! Very nice to come back to a hot shower after a dip in the pool (a little chilly but it is September). The blanket on the bed was so soft! This blanket is a big contributor to our five star review. Finally, the location was great and the price was very affordable.

I love the Beach Bum Motel. The rooms I've stayed in were nice and kept clean. The landscape has a fun, beachy setting. The staff was very nice and was willing to be of help, if necessary. And best of all, it is in walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. This is definitely my spot for returning future vacations!

To start off I called and reserved a room. I asked them how many parking spaces do we get they said we only get one but we can get another one for an extra $25 a day. So I told the gentleman on the phone that I needed two parking spots. One for my trailer one for my pickup. He I got you down for two parking spaces. After driving 7 hours to get there with my pickup and my trailer. Now it was a small trailer just big enough to hold a motorcycle. The gentleman told me I could not get no other parking I told him when I was there I need another parking space you told me that I would have one when I got here. Well that was a lie. Then get to the room the room stink really bad. Like Bo and piss. The beds were so uncomfortable I had Springs sticking up and hitting me in my back while I was sleeping I had to pull out the sofa sleeper to sleep on that that was actually more comfortable service was horrible I asked for extra towels and the gentleman at the desk was going to charge me for two extra towels because I forgot a towel to bring down I usually bring my own towels but I want swimming and a really dirty pool customers had to clean the pool out themselves I should not have to coning the pull out myself everything in the room was outdated says on the sign that they have cable TV only had three channels and those channels were blurry the Wi-Fi was horrible it would work for a couple minutes and then go out I had to go to the store and buy some air freshener to spray in the room because the room stink so bad I called the front desk and ask them to change the sheets and covers the guy at the front desk got an attitude and said they were changed before I got there but I don't know that and if the room smell like that I'm sure the sheets weren't changed and the quilt that they give you it was so paper thin you can see through it for the money that I had spent there which was a lot of money for just 3 days my service and room should have looked better I have been coming to Ocean City 20years I have paid for cheaper rooms and got better quality in service and room I do not recommend this hotel I will never stay at this hotel again

It's very close to the beach, lots of good boardwalk spots in the immediate areas without having to drive. Loved that we had a private porch. Friendly staff. Lots of space and a great room for the price!
