the staff is friendly. it's inexpensive and the rooms are simple. very firm mattresses heh.

My family and I stayed at this motel this week, 8/21-25, 2017,and although it is a little far from the boardwalk fun, it is very,very, clean. In fact, I would say it's cleaner and in better condition than some of the hotels in the area that we've stayed in the past. The bathroom is a little small but adequate and the pool is smaller than it appears in the picture online, but we did get to use it one day of our stay.
The front desk gentleman is kind and friendly and the lady at the register is courteous. 
The only negative, is, that we had to drive to the boardwalk because of the distance, which I don't like to do while I'm on vacation; but that's because I mis-judged the distance of this motel on the map when I was searching for a place to stay. We did walk to it on our first day there, and it was about 40 blocks! 
Regardless of that fact, we had a good time and I'm glad we went to O.C. Maryland. 
Oh, here's a tip when searching...don't book immediately  ... instead, do a second or third search, you might get the same room and stay for cheaper price.

If you are looking for cheap and clean, this place was perfect. The walls were thin and you could hear everyone that was out and about. The pool was clean, but comically small. The window unit didn't keep the room very cool. There was also ample parking.

Great for the price, and it does the job. A few of my friends and I needed an affordable place to stay for a beach weekend, and as long as you're not expecting something on par with the pricey hotels, you'll be satisfied. The room was clean and had no weird smells like some other motels. Clean sheets and towels, mini fridge, microwave, good air conditioner. Pool looked clean. Staff was very friendly. I would warn you that the doors are thin, though, and you pay per guest, not by room, and it was mostly families staying there. So just don't be crazy loud and obnoxious and don't try to cram 10 people in one standard room and you'll be good. If you need additional parking it's right next to the convention center where you can park for free. Also, since we were mostly planning on going out to the bars (Seacrets, Coconuts, Macky's), the location is convenient  because they are all within a 20 minute walking distance.

Rooms are clean and location is great for the beach and night life. Beds are comfortable but I would recommend bringing a pillow (they are not so good). Friendly staff. Don't have any complaints.
