The Barefoot Mailman

My friend and I stayed at this hotel when we came down for the Ocean City Film Festival and it was great! The rooms are spacious and the layout is really well done. They are pet friendly and it shows! There are treats in the lobby and the staff is trained and responsive to guest instructions. Checking in and out was a breeze, and parking was FREE! One negative I will mention is the floors were a bit dirty. However, I overlooked it because I did not spend much time in the room, I still enjoyed the location and the proximity to the beach.

Where to start?! This hotel is absolutely fantastic! My now fiancé planned an overnight stay with one of our dogs and unbeknownst to me, he planned his proposal! The staff (especially Letty, Rob and Taylor) helped keep everything secret. My fiancé had booked a second room for my sister and two of her friends who also helped plan everything. The staff allowed my sister and friends an early check in so they could decorate the room and have everything set up for me after the proposal. Letty even asked for me to come by the office to see my ring! The room was very well kept and we all had such a wonderful time. I loved having my pup stay with us too. Thank you to everyone who helped my fiancé plan and keep it a surprise. You all rock! Can’t wait to visit again, will certainly be recommending to anyone who wants to take their dog for a trip.

Very clean rooms. Staff was great. Thanks to Sue who went above and beyond to get us checked in late. Best pet friendly place. We will be back again

Pets are allowed. No breed or weight restrictions. Beautiful rooms. So many pillows! We are on the 4th floor and had a view of the ocean. What would be awesome since they are super dog friendly is if they had dog bowls and beds in the room. But so not a big deal by any means. I just piled a lot of extra blankets on the floor for my dog. He is huge breed anyways so most dog beds are too small. They still do have popcorn ceilings but other than that I wouldn't say the rooms are outdated by any means. Brand new floors was in mine. I can tell the doors are not the original either. There is wifi. It's not good for videos on Facebook or app games... parking is under the building. Permit for one vehicle is given at check in. If you have more than one vehicle the second will have to park elsewhere. There is a little bit of street parking but I'm assuming during summer it doesn't last long. More to come. We have only just checked in.

I stayed for 1 night at this place, and it was great. The room was so pretty, everything was clean, and really you couldn't ask for more. Ample towels and sheets. The king sized bed was the best part, I really felt like a king. We were upgraded to a room with a better view upon arrival (very much appreciated) and the staff's smiling faces never fsultered. It was a pretty good value, and I bet they'll be seeing me there in the future.
