Bird Rock Surf

Story

Bird Rock Surf Shop is the largest surf shop in La Jolla. We specialize in new, used and custom surfboards, wetsuits, men's, women's and children's clothing, hats, sunglasses, bikinis, surfing DVDs, longboard skateboards and tons of other surfing and beach products. We have convenient off-street, free parking for our customers.

We house one of the largest used surfboard collections in the San Diego/La Jolla/Pacific Beach/Ocean beach area. Our friendly, no-attitude staff will help make sure you have the right gear whether you're a beginner or pro.

Bird Rock Surf Shop rents surfboards (everything from beginner foam boards to high-performance shortboards), Stand-Up Paddle boards and beach cruiser bicycles. We also provide expert surfboard repair and custom surfboard shaping.

Friendly, helpful staff! - Nice store, good location. I recently inherited a surf board from a friend of mine, and he recommended that I bring it in to a shop for some minor repairs. I brought my board in to Bird Rock Surf and was greeted by Omar and Leslie, who took excellent care of me. Omar took some time to look over my board, and he found nothing that required repair. He directed me to a product that I could easily apply on my own to fix any minor damage that might develop, and he even gave me advice on how to make the repair. Omar and Leslie both took the time to give me tips and answer my other questions, as I have many being a surfing newbie. I will be back for all of my surfing needs in the future. Thanks Bird Rock Surf Shop!

I rented twice a Longboard with this great people, they are charming, educated, patience, and always smiling. We came along from Spain and they were really helpful. I recommedn to stop by and check the great things they have in the store. Thanks Bird Rock Surf Team ! Regards, Fabio and Marta
