Surfers Point at Seaside Park

Surfers' Point has some really great waves and a nice Promenade but be aware of the homeless and drug addicts that hang out down there. We have tried to clean it up but more come when they get word of us Surfers running them off. Still it's a nice place to Surf, ride bikes, skateboard, walk etc.

My husband and I traveled for business, the seaside was so close the waves sounded like a beautifull melody to my ears, we took a walk early evening the sunset was breath taking, a lively busy town many nice restaurants , shops and a theater at a walking distance, and of course good surfing, a safe and fun family weekend get away, ah! hotel reservation? You be glad you did it way in advance, enjoy and be safe in your travels!:)

It may not be 5 stars for everyone. It's 5 stars to me due to sentimental value. Great walk along the promenade. Head northwest from the pier towards the fairgrounds and explore the beauty.

What can I say? I am at surfers point so much you could almost say I live there. What's not to love? A whole street of 24 minute parking. No where else in the WORLD will you find 24 minute parking. Or a municipality enforcing it. Well, maybe Santa Cruz... But, I digress. If you are a surge in or around Ventura CA then you already know about surfers point. If you are a tourist, surfers point is where you are looking for.

Great place to enjoy the beach. Amazing surfing to entertain you. We rented a trailer and took our pooch to enjoy the day with us. Stop at the Royal Plaza Hotel and the Mexican restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
