I believe that the staff needs to be empathetic towards their clients. At times, staff can be cold and rude. I feel like i step into a human harvesting factory and treated as a subject with no feelings. Also, there’s no consistency to their rules for incentives, such as the printed coupons vs copied and the wheel spin on wednesdays. Last, I don’t see teamwork. I was stuck on a machine for 15 mins upon completion all the while other staff members heard and seen i was finished but no communication to whomever was suppose to check on those that are done. It’s a hit or miss every time but more negative experiences than would be positive if they were just in tuned on so many levels.

I have been donating for a few weeks now. The first five donations are worth it but the 6th and after is a joke. 25 bucks. There should be a pay system for weight. I have to fill a entire bottle while people lighter than me only have to fill half way and get the same pay. Not fair. I found a coupons online from the Student insider and the manager told me BPL will no longer honor. What a waste of time. As a medical profession employees should be more professional not the case on the donor floor. The Assistant Director does work the floor however seems to have no authority.

First, I was shamed by a member of the staff for having to have a c section. He told me to adopt in the future instead of having repeat c sections "so the baby can get the mom's bacteria from a vaginal birth." Then after being there for 2 1/2 hours and watching people who came after me get taken back for their physicals before me I finally got to go back. It came up that I'm currently breastfeeding my 8 month old. The medical staff member then pretended to have computer issues (I could see the computer and he wasn't) and left the room to get "help." He came back and without even touching the computer told me I couldn't donate because I breastfeed. Which leads me to believe he didn't even know it was a rule and had to go ask someone... He then explained that some places allow you to donate when breastfeeding, but their current location does not. Okay, whatever. Then he continued on saying the FDA is the reason for rejecting breastfeeding mothers.... Ummmm. If the FDA is the reason then no one would allow breastfeeding mother's to donate, which isn't the case. Plus if you look it up the FDA DOES allow breastfeeding mother's to donate if the baby is older than 6 months. So they need to get their facts straight. And add in their questions something about breastfeeding when they ask about pregnancy if it is a problem. I wasted 3 hours of my life and got shamed too. Get your facts straight please.

It's too bad managers under the ownership keep changing rules about coupons. First they tell you (just as the Insider tells you) that you can copy the coupon and receive the bonus. Then a manager wearing expensive designer clothing (probably paid for by the money they take from us for refusing the bonus) tells you they can't. I got burned for 20 bucks this year. Pretty obvious how these managers get their Christmas bonus to pay for their expensive lifestyle while we eat Ramein noodles.

Not happy I waited 20 mins after they open to start the kiosk thing . Very inconvenient they should open on time like any other business. New update 7:30 still waiting. This is not right they make us wait cuz they mess up on something
