Totally unprofessional. I set up two viewings for one of their properties. The first one was cancelled the day before in an email filled with grammatical errors and with no attempt to reschedule. I attempted to reschedule on my own, and a time and date was set up. I arrived at the location, after taking time off of work to do so, waited around for 15 minutes, and no one showed up. I called to find out what was going on and was told that because of a “computer glitch,” there was no record of my appointment. Waited another 5 minutes on hold only to be told that I would have to wait yet another 15 minutes for someone to show up and do the showing. Obviously, I told them to forget the whole thing as this was the second time this happened and I had to go back to work. The person on the other end of the phone laughed and hung up on me. I guess I dodged a bullet - but it’s still too bad because this property was exactly what I was looking for!

I was one of the original homeowners managed by Brax Property Management and the service has always been spotty at best. I am an active duty Soldier and having good management was vital as I am unable to see the home personally for long stretches of time.
The ball was completely dropped with my last tenants. The first issue, I was told they were good applicants and there was nothing to suggest they would be bad tenants. I received their application earlier this year after they were finally removed for not paying rent for three months, and the app listed 7 liens against them for rent/property related issues. Not sure in what world this qualifies as a "good applicant" but clearly they were not.
Not only did they fail to pay rent, but once they were removed from the home the true horror was revealed. This couple lived like an episode of hoarders and cause over $18,000 in damages. Given their credit history and the already 50k in liens against them, I felt there was no point in wasting my time and energy on taking them to court. Just truly frustrated that Brax failed to properly provide oversight and management of my property. This sort of thing should have been caught by the routine inspections that are part of the lease but never actually carried out.
Finally, the owner Toby Yates, told my wife and I in person that the company would ensure this situation was taken care of and would be involved until it was. Guess what? No less than a week later I hear from an employee that all Brax employees were told not to interact with me or my property again as the company was done with it. How amazing is that?!
I'm truly disgusted by this entire situation, but now after nearly 6 months or work the home is back in a livable condition. This of course was accomplished with ZERO assistance from Brax. Complete joke of a company and one that should be embarrassed with how they treated me. I do not recommend anyone have Brax manage (and I use that term very loosely) their property. Thank you.

I didn't have any issues while renting from them. We paid always on time and took the best care of the house we possibly could have. We gave them a 30 day notice and moved out April 30th.
After calling them about my deposit 6 times, they finally told me that we not only are not receiving our deposit back, but they will also charge us an addition $210 for "repairs & Labor".
We literally left the house MUCH cleaner than when we first moved in. We even patched up and painted over holes that they left.
I am a fair person and I understand that they could take a few hundred dollars for extra cleaning and deep cleaning, but this was just a straight up unfair way to treat us. Also, by law, they were supposed to contact us regarding the deposit within 30 days of move out, it has been a month and a half.
Thankfully we have a great family attorney, we just sent in our legal papers and we will not give up for this unfair treatment. We are not the average Joe's that they will get away with screwing over, this has caused us so much stress and pain.
We will keep everyone up to date...
