Before you rent through Drury, take pictures of every room, the oven, the ceiling. I mean everything! Then make a "Punch List" of every minor or major defect. Have them sign the "Punch List" and acknowledge the pictures as true. Because if you don't, your security deposit will be returned to you minus quite a bit! They find all sorts of things to charge you for. One charge was for professional cleaning $75, even though the house was cleaner and in better shape than when we moved in. A $35 fee for a "walk through"....etc.. I will not waste my time with the rest of their out right stealing of our deposit. Since I did not have pictures of the home before we moved in, and no "Punch List", we have no recourse. A very nice racket they are running on renters deposits.
