Broken English Taco Pub

Authentic Mexican flavor with a modern culinary twist, and a Los Angeles inspired aesthetic. Not much else to say. They got it right. Excellent service from the bar staff who were always willing to spare a few seconds for some quick conversation between slinging tequila shots and pouring some nice cold Mexican Lager. It's everything I wanted from a place that proudly calls itself a "Taco Pub"

My buddies and I had a great experience! Service was amazing and the food was even better. I highly recommend the porkbelly pastor tacos. Our server, Sam, was very friendly and attentive. Fun, quirky atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

To start, the restaurant atmosphere is full of energy and fun. Staff are very kind and welcoming. I ordered the steak tacos and guacamole & chips. Tacos were amazing and so was the guacamole, but the portion for guacamole is pretty small. Overall, the food looked so good that I forgot to take a picture!

Sat at the bar, staff was friendly and attentive, drinks were strong. Unfortunately, our tacos were cold. Flavor was great but would have loved hot tacos. The manager was great and brought us two new tacos on the house (very find) but plate was cold and meat on the tacos were again, not hot. Will for sure be sticking with the Loop location.

Came in for lunch. Thought it was strange the host/waiter had on black sunglasses while working but let it slide. My friend and I were contemplating drinks. The waiter, still in his sunglasses indoors, suggested we get a margarita pitcher because “it will save you guys money”. Cool. The two tacos were $8. They tasted decent but would’ve been better with a slice of lime and the diced pineapple instead of a singular slice. My friend enjoyed the $13 salad. We got the bill. Somehow a $13 salad and $8 tacos turned into $85. How? That pitcher that was “going to save us money” was $45. Ok sure. What truly made it over the top was an additional $10 for mango flavor. Flavor which we could barely taste. That right there is a SCAM. I can’t recommend this place based on that.
