Visited in a Friday night. Long wait for a table but bar was open. Happy hour margaritas were pretty good for $6 and tacos were great. Camarones tacos were easily the best. Good prices too for the quality. Pretty well located.

This place is beautifully decorated inside! I love the graffiti outside too. We came here for food on Cinco De Mayo. We waited about an hour for a table. We waited by drinking at the bar and their margaritas were pretty good. We finally got our table and I'm pretty sure our waiter was intoxicated. It was a bit annoying when we're trying to order food and he's nowhere to be found. When we finally got his attention, he was pretty helpful and recommended the fried chicken tacos (delicious btw). Little disappointed they'd be drunk on the job.

Decent place to grab a drink and bite - $3 on all Mexican beers the Wednesday I was there. Overall reasonably priced and lively atmosphere. Perhaps even livelier than ideal for happy hour when trying to converse with friends.

If you’re looking for Americanized Mexican good in Chicago AND you’re in old town. Go to Broken English. Solid tacos, pretty good service, and solid margs.
