I would have given this place 3 stars were it not for the moving out process. My boyfriend got a job offer that requires both of us to move out of State. The lease does require 60 days written notice of intent to vacate, however we did not know we were moving until the first part of April, 9 days after the 60 day deadline. I called them immediately and asked if there was some way they would work with us. I was told no, that we missed the deadline and were now responsible for the month of June, even though we were not going to be there. What's more, we were told we would be put on a month to month lease for the month of June which made the cost of rent jump up several hundred dollars. I called their human resources, the regional manager and was told the exact same thing. I know we missed the deadline, but it wasn't our fault, so customer service would dictate that they try to work with us and our situation instead of squeezing every penny out of us they can. If you are looking for a place that is run by caring people, don't move here. They want your money, not your satisfaction.

Thankfully we only signed a 6 month lease, because in the winter time at this PET FRIENDLY complex, our dogs paws were being severely irritated by the salt they were laying. I called the office (waste of time, everytime) to ensure they were using pet friendly salt & after being told I would be called back & then never hearing from them again (because of course the girl I talked to had no idea), I took it upon myself to call again a month later when my dogs refused to go out & walk on the cement. I asked the same question about the pet friendly salt & in these exact words, was told "um no, we don't use pet friendly salt. I don't know if you've ever looked at the store but it's like 17 times more expensive than the regular stuff." The next few months were hell to say the least; they never empty the dog waste stations nor do they refill the bags to pick up the waste - I called once to complain about that as well & was told "my guy was out there yesterday & took care of that." OK, so why am I looking at 10 bags of dog poop on the grass because the container is overflowing? We emailed one of the office girls to let her know we were giving our months notice to move, she emailed us a form to fill out & I faxed it over - well, we drive to Omaha to drop off our keys & were told they never received a move out notice, surprise surprise. The girl that corresponded with us over email was transferred to a different building so basically they told us we were SOL.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Where to even start... We were given the wrong keys not once, but twice the day we moved in. Since there is no office in Fremont, we proceeded to knock off 3 hours of potential moving time waiting for the key issues to be resolved. We get to our apartment door for the first time only to see that the door across from ours has a BIOHAZARD sticker slapped on it that says "unfit for human inhabitants", that would've been nice to have atleast had a heads up before moving in that the apartment feet away from ours is in quarantine.. So over the next 3 months, directly across the hall, they are completely gutting & rebuilding the inside of the apartment. While in the deconstructing process, the undertrained company they hired (they only hire the cheapest) was literally throwing everything from carpet to drywall to the kitchen sink off of the 2nd story balcony into a huge trashcan, obviously not everything is going directly inside of it so needless to say the parking lot was a mess & while deconstructing this apartment, a worker from Johnson Deconstruction hit a sprinkler head causing not only that apartment & the one under it to flood, but also the alarms to blare & as I am exiting the apartment a worker yells out to me "do you have your property manager's number?" I'm sorry, shouldn't that number be within fingertip reach at all times for an outside company doing work in a residence? One thing I wish I would've done before moving here was read the online reviews. The BBB website has even more horror stories.. The apartment's themselves aren't bad but the management is absolutely 100% the WORST I have ever encountered. It is not worth the stress nor the headache.

Horrible place to live waited two weeks to get into the apartment for some reason and when we got it none of the keys work even though we had to drive all the way to Omaha to get the keys there's dog poop all over the yard nobody ever picks it up or cleans up after themselves. It stinks like cigarette smoke all over the place. never anywhere to park way to expensive for what's here can't wait to get out of the lease. Management is well over their head with this property living and operating out of Omaha. They always tell you a problem is getting addressed or were working on the problem or something along those lines but the problem never seems to be solved I would not recommend living or renting from any of the elevate living properties you will be horribly disappointed.

My mother lives here. Nice apartments but some of the people who live here are sketchy at best.
