I lived here for 15 months and I enjoyed my stay. The neighborhood is friendly-- pets included! The leasing staff are the absolutely amazing and professional. Packages are ALWAYS accounted for and maintenance definitely deserves an award. KUDOS Robin and Mary!!! We will miss you ladies!

I lived here from may 2016-may 2017 and let me just tell you this place and it's management is a joke. They micromanage the way they we live. Perhaps it's just me they micromanage but I can't imagine why. My sister and I decided to move in here because of location and the prices weren't that bad. But we have since regretted moving here. I got a dog (which I disclosed to management before singing a lease that I was looking into getting one) and have since discovered that it doesn't matter if I pay a lot of money to live here, they will watch my every move. They apparently DNA test your dog and keep it on file so that if they find poop they can test it and then charge you a fee. In all honesty this isn't even the issue, especially if the fees were reasonable. The first fee is $100, the second is $150 and the third is $200 with removal of pet within 24 hours. I completely understand wanting to keep a nice community but these fees and stipulations are outrageous. I received a first fine and was upset but accepted the fact but shortly after I received my second fee, and I was ticked. I pick up after every single time he goes to the bathroom and couldn't understand how I had received a second fine. The only reason I can think of is that they found poop outside of my apartment and assumed it was my dogs and charged me, because I 100% clean up after every single one. When I went to talk to management about it she was very rude to me and kept repeating that "DNA doesn't lie" and if I wasn't going to pay the fee then she would charge me a late fee on rent (which she cannot do because the two events are unrelated and there is nothing in the lease that states she can do this) I left the office very angry because she just kept saying she would charge me for different things and I could see that I wasn't getting anywhere. Then the management sent out a flyer stating all the things they would charge us for DAILY if on our porch or front door i.e., if you left up decorations after a holiday for longer than a week, if you had an empty pot outside(tell me where else I should store that? We don't have porch storage) if you had dead flowers in a pot etc they would charge you! One time I received a phone call from management telling me I needed to train my dog better because he had gotten loose. Hi. He was maybe 1yoa? A puppy. And he had jumped over the chair I put to block off the door. He saw a dog and was super excited. The owner then proceeded to tattle tale on me. When the lady called me she said there was a report of a brown dog jumping on people. Like hi, I know I’m not the only one with a brown dog. She then told me I should get a baby gate or something to stop my dog from getting out. However the chair was bigger and taller than a gate so how is that supposed to help? After listening to her chastise me I finally told her I didn’t not have time for her and hung up. Then finally the glorious day came when the lease was up and we could finally move on. I moved to a different state and my sister to a different apartment complex. We had told them we were not resigning the lease but since they didn’t keep their own record of this conversation (which is surprising because they seems to keep record of everything else) they proceeded to charge my sister another months rent, but not the price we were paying on the lease. Instead they charged her the price for an individual month (aka 1200 dollars). We are finally free of this place and it’s management and I can tell you my sister and I are both happier than ever.
I hope by now they have realized their mistakes in hiring completely inept people. I hope everyone else had a better experience than we did.
I would have given them a -100000 rating but alas I can only do a 1 star.

This is by far the best apartment complex to live in for the price.
I can’t praise TROY enough for how caring and serious he takes his job. This guy is so humble, such a hard worker, NEVER would you be able to tell if him or any of Robin’s staff are having a bad day. Troy is doing a wonderful job working along side Cory and Cody. They are a bit never but that doesn’t mean they do any less than wonderful when it comes to taking care of whatever you need maintaince wise.
Kayla is always bubbly and so sweet! Mary is always full of kind words and takes her job very seriously. Triscia (might have spelled her name wrong) Triscia is very direct and does a amazing job staying pleasant.
Robin does a fantastic job over seeing her employees. Show her and her staff respect and it will be mirrored back.
I LOVE ❤️ living at whispering ridge.
HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

We have lived at Whispering Ridge for the last 9 months after selling our current house and needing somewhere to live while our new one is being built. Over-all, I give 5 stars for a couple of reasons.
1) Their over-all staff is awesome. The ladies in the front office are very helpful and polite, and the maintenance man is always quick to service.
2) The apartments are well taken care of. It had been a while since I had lived in an apartment so wasn’t sure what to expect. WR does a good job of keeping the ourside landscape and the indoor hallways and walkways clean.
3). Noise in the apartment was non existent. My biggest fear of moving back to an apartment was my neighbors keeping me up. Walls/ceiling seem to be pretty thick as I never hear any of them.
4) Location — being close to Elkhorn elementary and middle schools and quick access to stores and Maple road make this place ideal
Overall, a great place to live whether it is short term or long term. The place also does have lots of amenities like a pool and club house, however, we didn’t use them much so can’t really comment on them other than they look nice.
