Fox Valley Apartments

STAY AWAY!! I've lived in 4 other apartment complexes & I have NEVER been treated so poorly or have seen such a lack of professionalism. The management is made up of EXTREMELY rude & incompetent people who literally tell the residents to "deal with it or move out". I had an altercation with a neighbor who came to my door yelling & cursing & then tried to jump at my sister telling her he'd beat her up. When I called the police, the policeman told me that there's nothing they could do that is was the office's responsibility. So when I reported it to the office the manager told me that there was nothing she could do & if I wasn't happy I could leave. This place is dangerous, there are shootings and stabbings that have taken place in my building. Not only that, the workers here aren't knowledgeable about what the lease contains all they care about is the money. Ivy couldn't tell me where the fees are stated in the lease, according to her the office can fine residents whether or not it is noted in the lease. I had to find the fees in my lease by myself and tell her where it is because she didn't know. I have no doubt that when I move out in 2 weeks that they are going to steal money from me for things that aren't true or legal. Best advise, NEVER EVER RENT HERE

I'm alittle surprised to see all the negative comments but then again I am not. People tend to like complain more then tell about the positives. We have lives here 3 years and enjoyed it. We haven't had any real issues that they didn't resolve. All my neighbors are friendly and the maintenance guys have been nothing short of amazing. I could email in the morning a issue come home at the end of the day and it was fixed. Now that's service! I haven't had to really deal with the office but when i have they have always been friendly and helped me with any issues. We sure are gonna miss it when we move!! I wouldnt listen to the horrible reviews, my building has multiple people that have live here longer then 5 years and that tells you alot about it. Great place to call home

These scam artists charged us 1500 dollars for a deposit then when we moved out claimed there was 3000 dollars worth of carpet damage due to pet urine. Don't get me wrong, there was urine, but we shampooed the carpet before we left and they still kept our deposit and turned us into a credit bureau for the remaining 1500. They will nitpick and scam you when you move out. Please don't rent from these scumbags. CARPET DOES NOT COST 3000 DOLLARS TO REPLACE!

The people in the office are amazing and very nice. They helped me a lot and work with you if you are having financial issues.

I have lived here for the past almost 5 months now and I have had nothing but problems with this complex. Between the maintenance needing to come up to my apartment to fix my HVAC unit multiple times in just may alone is outrageous I have 2 children both under the age of 5 and I also live on the 3rd floor so it's a little difficult to leave the back door open to let cool air in because my youngest child is a VERY curious little girl. The last time they came to fix it they left it with a tickingish noise when it shuts off my Air conditioning is currently to blow at 70° it is almost 80 in my home with it running. There is nothing in front of the cold air return. Not to mention they woke up my daughter up after I put her down for a nap within 20 minutes she woke up because they were being loud and then proceeded to remove my children from my home after I had already told them that my children were taking a nap and my husband had layed down as well. They told me at 11 they would be back in about 3 hours I left my apartment at 1130 to go to work. I let my husband know they were taking a nap and I was leaving within 45 minutes I got a call and had to leave work because they took it upon themselves AFTER waking up my daughter (whom loves to scream when she wakes up) to take both my son and my daughter down to the main office and contact the police without even checking our room for my husband who had layed down to take a nap. We both work the night shift. So we get home late and get up early. My husband got a ticket that he shouldn't have gotten because of this. I have not been down to the office to talk to Jennifer or Ivy because I have been so mad at the place to the point where I am very tempted to just break my lease and move out somewhere else. I am very dissatisfied with this apartment complex. I will not be signing another lease I will take my money else where. Not to mention they are not willing to take anything off of my rent for the HVAC issues that THEY caused!!!
