City View Apartments

The management doesn't care. Living there was a nightmare. I lived there for 2 years and I didn't like it. The only good thing about it was the one maintenance guy Ed. The people didn't take care of their apartments so there was always a bug issue. Don't move here.

I have numerous problems with this place: 1) I live on the top floor, and when it rains or when the snow melts the ceiling starts to leak through the roof. I reported this over year ago, all with promises and reassurances that it would be fixed. It has not. 2) Every week to two weeks you’ll get a notice on your door that, tomorrow, the company is coming into your unit, whether it’s spraying for the cockroache’s or “inspecting for damages”. So if you’re just getting off work for the day looking for some rest, NOPE, you got a notice that people are going to be messing around your apartment while you’re not there so now you got to clean up for company. Last time they “checked for bed bugs”, tore my bedding off my mattress and just left it there without putting it back. Never had bed bugs, by the way. 3) if you are unfortunate enough to pay for a parking spot and it’s on the roof of the garage, you’re better off parking on the street if there is any chance of ice. The only way to enter the roof is by walking up the steep ramp, or the death trap iron staircase which becomes too slick to climb up or down. 4) cockroaches 5) crazy people pulling the fire alarm at 3am

This place definitely has many flaws. Moved in the building, and immediately had to be moved to a different apartment because the first one was infested with roaches. Mice roam around, and there are constant noises, whether that's people yelling outside, or ambulances driving by every hour or so. With that being said, the management is willing to work with you. I would suggest that if you do decide to live here, sign only a 6 month lease because that gives you time to find a much better place to live.

Lived in an apartment here for 1 year. My experience was the worst. There is no parking, there are very limited parking spots and are very expensive to pay for monthly. There are only about 10 washers and dryers fro the ENTIRE apartment complex, it was difficult to do laundry. Our room didn't have a thermostat, if we wanted to warm up the room you needed to crawl under an old metal heater attached to the wall. When it was hot weather you had to wait for maintenance to get to your room to install a wall a/c...yes, a wall a/c. Which they then would remove when it got cold again. Around the end of our lease (March) roaches started showing up in our room. We cleaned and tried to find where they could be coming from. We told management 3 TIMES and they "bombed" our room, but the issue was that they were crawling in through the floor boards. They never actually tried making a permanent solution. The building is super old and there was probably a nest somewhere around the building and instead of addressing THAT they would just bomb our room, which affect our food, our clothes, everything. It was terrible. We almost didn't last the entire lease..
