My family and I just picked up our brand new Pioneer from Camping World. If you want great service go buy an RV from them. My new pal 5 star Steve in the service department is nothing less than outstanding. He is funny, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about what he does and who he is taking care of. My wife and I enjoyed the entire process of a major purchase with the staff at Camping World. Thank you to Steve in service and Robert in sales. You have our appreciation for all your help and customer loyalty for years to come.

We love Camping World in Monticello, MN! Our salesman, Billy, was such an amazing person to work with. Living two hours away, Billy personally walked through a camper that we found online & liked and proceeded to take a video of everything! It was very helpful! We felt so comfortable working with him and never felt pressured into purchasing. I highly suggest doing business with him.
We are now proud owners of a 2014 Grand Design Reflection all thanks to him! Thanks Billy!

Not a good experience at all. First off let me say, I have purchased 5 previous campers thru different dealerships in the past and have never had this kind of experience. Went to camping world to look at trading in our current camper for a different model that we had found online there. While we knew that we were upside down on our camper we figured it was worth a look. After talking with the salesman he assured us that most people end up like that and that we should be able to work something out. We left and said that we would get back to him after we talked about it. We received a call from the salesman the very next day asking if we had thought about it. We had talked a little but were still a little undecided. After talking with him we told him some of the pertinent information and said if he could get us where we wanted to be, we would buy. He told us he would see what he could do but that it shouldn’t be a problem. Early the next week we talked with the salesman and let him know that our down payment was going to be more than we had originally stated. He asked if we were sure we wanted to put all of it down and we said yes. Sounded like everything was going good and that they were going to be able to get us where we wanted to be so we went ahead with applying for credit. We both have excellent credit and to protect that rating we wanted to make sure this was doable first. We sent in the money to hold the camper and waited and waited. Finally called and asked where things were at as we were wondering if we should start cleaning out our current camper to get it ready for trade in. We were told Oh yes go ahead, this shouldn’t be a problem. Later we talked with one of the finance guys and he said that he had one bank but wanted to check with one other bank first and would get back to us later that day. We never heard back. Couple days later we call back and talk to another finance guy (first gentleman that we had talked to evidently wasn’t there) and all of a sudden they want double the down payment and even then wouldn’t be able to get where we wanted to be. How can that be? Definitely something fishy going on there. Was a lot of screwing around where the left hand evidently did not know what the right hand was doing/saying. We are still waiting for the return on the money we put down. We will take our business elsewhere.
Update: Was really happy to see a response from Camping World asking us to contact them about our situation only to not get any response from them once we contacted them. I am assuming they put that out there so that people would think that their customer service is great and that they are willing to work with people that are dissatisfied with them. NOT!

Very unsatisfied with this company when I brought my camper in for warranty and replacement work. First issue was the awning. When I brought the camper in, I had a black awning that had ripped. My father and I brought the service advisor Tony Gewedik, and walked him around the camper showing him the damaged “Black” awning. I told him to replace it. He decided that a white awning should go there, when the initial awning is black along with all the other awnings on my camper. Not once did I tell him to change the color of the awning to white, I said to replace it. Second issue, is the roof vent. Clearly in an email sent to Tony, I stated that I wanted a new roof vent installed above the kitchen. These intelligent employees installed it above my bathroom, when I clearly stated in English to INSTALL ABOVE THE KITCHEN. I have called multiple times, and never get a call back. I have even spoke to Tony about the issue and he says “I’ll call you right back” but NEVER calls back. This pissed me off so much that I called the service manager about the issue, and got the same reply “I’ll call you right back”. These people do not value the customer. I paid for these services, and have received no compensation. Their mistakes, but they won’t fix them. This is fraudulent business.

We had a great experience at Camping World in Monticello purchasing our first travel trailer. Our salesman Zach went above and beyond to make sure we got the camper we wanted for the best price. Our service technician, Jim, that did our walk through of our new unit was informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. We would recommend Camping World to our family and friends.
