Christine's Soul Food Place

I ordered the Smothered Pork Chop Dinner with Greens and Mac & Cheese. The pork chops were really good! However, I thought it was odd that they didn't have any pork chops ready on a Friday afternoon. They had to cook them to order then add them to the gravy from the steam table. I guess it turned out okay for me since they were cooked fresh. As far as the sides the mac wasn't my favorite, and the greens could use some spice. The corn bread taste good. There was only one young guy taking orders, preparing orders, letting the cook in the back know when something needed to be made to order, and coming around the counter to cash people out. You can tell he was focused on getting through the line, but he did slow down long enough to ask me if I was interested in any dessert. It's an okay place. I will probably give them another chance before I rule them out.

Nice people who work here but food wasn't fresh. it wasn't hot. funny smell in the building over priced i do support black business but wouldn't go again i even through the left overs away kinda disappointed that I wasted 35 dollars hopefully they improve..... Make sure food is hot when served

Pork chops and rice is bomb. But that Mac and cheese is horrible. I could've gone to kfc for that quality. You can't put fast food with homemade smothered pork chops and cornbread with some amazing mango koolaid.

There was absolutely no soul in this food. Barely there seasoning and smothered pork chops were very tough. Mustard greens were tough and bitter. Will never eat here again..
