Punk’s Simple Southern Food

Service is superb!!! Manager is always present and jovial and accommodating. We had a large table on Saturday so we had a variety of food. The Fish and grits was good. Pulled pork sandwich and burger was good. Pecan crusted chicken and mashed potatoes was good. There were no complaints except the fried green tomatoes weren't seasoned enough. Sweet tea was the BEST also. I have been at least 5 or 6 times for brunch and dinner they never disappoint.😃

Outstanding Mother's Day!! May 13, 2018 Grant....the General Store Manager made this first time visit an awarded winning day.. My daughter T,,was very Happy.. Grant respected my mother H.B...And sister T with the highest words of excellenance... We drove at least an hour and twenty minutes to get their. The experience made us book a table for next month.. May your Good Day's out way your bad ones..Grant! Let God shine on you!!! Happy Tuesday Grant I need some fried Chicken today!!!

If your looking for some real southern fried chicken, pick KFC over this place. Ordered the half chicken, got five small pieces of an anorexic bird and while the meat was moist; it lacked almost any flavor at all. The sauce they have is disgusting, the hot sauce which is also made in house is a joke (just a somehow worse and more bland version of their "signature punk" sauce). Really, really disappointed in the food. Staff was nice and the place was really nicely appointed though. The place was dead (which was really surprising, but after eating not so much) at noon during the week. They really need to up their game if they want to keep on charging $20 per plate; and put some real hot sauce on the table -- whatever that concoction they think is hot sauce will not cut it down here.

Great location, welcoming atmosphere which lead to wonderful music and being the best chicken two years in a row I would agree. The staff was attractive, assistant wonderful with the menu ordering. Gave honest thoughts on the menu! Visit for yourself! Enjoy try the Chicken🐂🐄🐖

My attempted dining experience was extremely disappointing. My wife and I waited ~20 minutes for our waitress to greet us. She only took our drink order to start which would have been fine except for how the drinks took another 20 minutes to get to our table. When we saw a (larger) table that was seated after us receive their food when we hadn't even placed our order, we decided to eat dinner somewhere else.
