Consulado General del Perú en Paterson

I was there this morning, I certainly was a bit concern about what I was going to experience at the embassy after reading all these comments. However, my experience was opposite to every single aspect mentioned by other people. I arrived at 10am to renew my passport, there was many people, but the line was going down fast, I approached the information window and the lady there explained me the process and kindly answered all my questions. I probably waited 30 minutes when I was called, the person who process my renewal application was very polite, knowledgeable and explained many details that I didn't even know. I found an ex-coworker and she also had the same impression as me. Probably is the time or the day i went (Monday morning) but is common sense when doing paperwork with any government agency of any country, the best time to go is early and monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, not wait til the end of the week.

I went there about 12 was fast and easy they got much better and the lady in the front desk Super nice .they improve a lot

The entire staff at the Paterson consulate are the most ceonceited, hostile, and probably pseudo pitukos I have ever confronted. They act like snobs as if they're doing you a favor despite you treating with an objective respectful manner. What exactly do they want? A bribe or something to process the paperwork? They really act like the corrupted government officials of the 1980s despite that you're paying to get your DNI and passport card processed.

seriously the worst ! they never pick up , when are they going to fire all of these old careless people ! IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB QUITTTTTTTTT!
