They need to inform people weather they need appointments or not when they are just picking up passports/ cards. I was treated as though I was trying to cut in front everyone and was told so loudly and was ignored once she told me so..I was just trying to let her know that I was not aware of that and that people should be told that so when they travel 2 hours to get here they don't have to wait for hours on end. I would had made my appt ahead of time and I wouldn't have to go through this humiliation if they had done their job right the first time...

I made my appointment online and on the day I was called within some 15 min. Service was fast and friendly. I wa scared with the negative reviews but my experience was 100% pleasant.

Customer service is terrible, To top it all there is no one you can go and ask a question. It’s all via online appointments
What about the elderly they have to go buy someone, to make an appointment for them.
That’s a shame. For an office that get days off for holidays in Portugal and also the holidays in the states.
I understand that as customer service you put up with a lot of bad people, but their are also some of us good
Besides it’s a service you get paid for

In my experience, nice and professional people,the staff are very polite and try to help to everyone,in my case the documents was faster and on time , thank you so much for your attention and attitude! 👍

Like others have said, calling is nearly useless. I have to say that the system now is better then before where it was first come, first served. That usually led to hours of waiting, and big lines before opening. Now you book an appointment. Last time I had an appointment at 9:30am, was finally seen about 1 hour later. LIke others said, no email confirmation for appointments, so I emailed them asking to confirm the time, since I had forgotten. Took them days to respond, but did get a response the day before the appointment. In my experience, once you are seen, the service is actually fast. All in all, I'm happy with service, and again, it's much better than years back.
