Went there to renew my passport. It was awesome! In and out in less than one hour! The brother at the door was welcoming and guided me on my next steps. Brother Khaled was more than helpful not only with me but with all attendees. Algerian Brothers: let’s stop arguing and start organizing ourselves on the west coast to send a petition to open a consulate on the west coast or at least repeat the mobile station experience. The brothers at the consulate are aware of our pain but they can’t help, we need to move. BTW, they have been replying to ALL my email inquiries

As much as I try to understand how Algerian Consulate works I can’t .....I am sorry but I can’t understand you guys. I got my passport ready but now I have to go find a notary office and spend more money to get my papers notarized!!!!! IS THIS REQUESTED IN OTHER RESPECTIVES CONSULATES AROUND THE WORLD ? People disrespect you because the way you ask them too much. Enough is Enough. Nothing looks normal in this place. WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO GET A NOTORIZED SWORN STATEMENT? WHY ? WHY THIS BUILSHIT ? I went to see notary and he told me I can’t understand what they want to do exactly !! I told him believe me I can’t understand them too. The notary he was from Mongolian republic he was nice but suddenly he gets suspicious as he taught it was a hidden camera for Ramadan 😂

We arrived in New York on Friday from Columbus, OH, hoping to go to the consulate on a Saturday. We found on the website that the consulate was closed after we had already driven 8 hours, however we still went on Saturday hoping we could find someone to help us. & we did! They let us in, and the many others that were there waiting regardless of the fact that they were suppose to be closed. They were nothing but pleasant and the consulate specifically did everything she could for us. Not only did they help us but they also invited us to a celebration for Algeria day.

These folks are just a joke, i mean the biggest joke of the century! They didn't tell me that i wasn't supposed to bring my 2.3L car with the CCR procedure and now it's stuck at the port of Algiers. Prepare yourselves for a big lawsuit.

My wife applied for a visa for the first time, and they treated her with alot of respect . and so i read all the reviews and it is not true to what's inside, 6 people asked me if i was helped or not. From A to Z there is no other consulate has treated me that way. Very professional and super honey friendly. Even they made it clear on their website, just visit their website or go to the library near you if you don't have access to the internet . ( it is not one or 200 people that are calling during the day ). Gracias
